I just went with my boyfriend and my mother to get a tattoo!(he got a new one last night-number 3, and my mom and I just went to get our first one, hers a rose, mine a palm tree) Take a look, it hurt pretty badly but it turned out great and I'm glad I did it!
Beware, the pic shows it's swollen and redness, but I'm feeling pretty good. I got it on my left shoulder blade and this picture of it is only when the tat is like a couple of hours old.

A palm tree?

Obviously done by a shady character.

Looks good.

Sweet Kristin!

We get a tat for the meaning. Please share the meaning of the palm tree!!??

Looks like nice work! Cudos to the artist!

Nice tat. Watch out when the coconuts start to fall :)

Wow, it's well done!

I'm also curious about the significance of the palm tree.

Your mom went, too? Too cool!

I am LOVING this, OzKristin!

I've been thinking about another one for a long time now, although my S/O isn't keen on them.

If I do get it done, I'll post it.

I like the simplicity of the design...how about another pic when the redness and swelling are gone???

Actually the palm tree reminds me of my travels to Central America (Nicaragua and Costa Rica) and of my study abroad days when I was in Australia. Tropical areas mean a lot to me and I've seemed my happiest when I am around palm trees. The first time I saw a palm tree I hugged it..so what if I'm a tree-hugging hippie lol.
