Um, I worked today and can't even remember what was on our sign. Maybe $3.39. or $3.43.

How much have prices dropped in your area ?
$1.89,
diesel $2.79 here

Oldfart 12-19-2014 07:50 PM

We've dropped about a buck a gallon, but the profiteers are still profiteering.

BIBI 12-19-2014 11:36 PM

95 cents a litre....you do the math cause I can't lol

Lord Snow 12-20-2014 12:43 AM

We're around the $2.20 mark in my area of TN. Some places are lower, and others a little higher.

dicksbro 12-20-2014 03:54 AM

Lowest I've seen around here is $2.34 to $2.35 ... that's in some neighboring towns. In our town, it's at $2.49 ... falling but not as fast as other towns. :(

jseal 12-21-2014 08:38 PM

$2.59 to $2.75 here.

Stations dropped their prices to $2.19 yesterday.

dicksbro 12-23-2014 02:11 AM

$2.14 yesterday at the gas station near where we went to the movie. :)

scotzoidman 12-24-2014 07:42 PM

Actually got to $1.84/gal with loyalty discount.

By leaving many more dollars in the gas buyers' collective pockets, this price reduction could give a significant boost to the economy. Let's hope it plays out that way. :)

Lord Snow 12-26-2014 06:13 AM

It will give a significant boost, the question is will it be wise spending or not? Such as buying a vehicle that gets better gas mileage and in better condition than your current one, but still keeping it well within you financial means as opposed to buying a $50,000.00 Escalade on $20,000 a year salary.

Oldfart 12-26-2014 06:46 AM

The international oil price has halved (almost) and the fuel prices should have dropped also. It's not a linear correlation because of taxes and production/distribution variables, but if it means that people have real money in their pockets, it's good.
