Wondering who will tire out first for this game tonight.
Man, it was almost over in the third period of OT, too! Must have been a let down emotionally for anaheim!
And, the Ducks have it. What a long game!
Yes they did, Steph. A long and good game. I knew one of them had to be getting tired after all of that time. At the end of the 4th OT, Dallas had 65 shots on goal, Ducks 53. Awful lot of shots.
That's what my b/f said, too but I said, hmm .. . not that many, really! One of the games against Philly, Belfour took 75 shots! I know it's not fair to judge the shots like that but 75 shots!!! For some reason, 65 doesn't have the same ring it usually does.
all I have to say...after watching my team lose four straight to the Ducks...may they or Minnesota (bless you guys for putting Me out of Roy HELL) raise the Cup in victory when these play offs are over.
Roy does rock, you must admit!

Sorry, Steph, on this I will have to disagree as will Cabry, I'm sure. We simply don't like the guy. Never have, never will. :eek: ;) :p |
He's a Canadian (originally a Hab!!!) and he's an awesome goalie! come on, you have to give it up for Patrick! :) :) :)
I would love to have Patrick as the Flyer goalie right now.
<bump>
Come on, hockey fans! Who are you cheering for now? My heart's (sorta) with Ottawa. Who are your second choices in this long struggle for the Cup? Even poor Don Cherry's tired at this point! |
Don Cherry tired??? Impossible!! ;):D
Well, since MY Red Wings are out of it I've had to find another team to cheer for. Since I'm in Missouri now I thought I'd root for the Blues. But they're out of it too. :( So in true American tradition, I'm rooting for the underdogs. I'm rooting for Minnesota right now. And I like Ottawa a lot too. Both relatively young teams and not in the league very long. Maybe not very exciting as far as the television networks and the League are concerned, but if they're good enough to make it to the Finals then they deserve to be there. But if Vancouver and Ottawa end up in the Finals, Don Cherry will be so happy he won't know whether to s**t or go blind!! Oh, how I miss getting the CBC coverage now that I'm all the way down here in No-Hockey Hell!! :( |
A lot of people I know cheer for the underdog, too.
As for Don Cherry, I was quoting a Toronto Sun sports columnist in reference to all the games that have been on lately. Even if there's no game scheduled, the Sports Network plays old games! |
i'm going for the ducks and the wild in the west (either is fine for me) and in the east the senators (nj should let someone else have a shot at it)
I agree with you 100%, darkmanx!!
BTW, it's great to see you post again! ;) |
