Such a "small" thing that can make a world of difference.
Morrigan and I always make a point of parting with a kiss and an, "I love you" - even if the day isn't going that well. It's been this way every day for 7 years. Even though it could easily be taken for granted, it is so very important to keep telling those you love how you feel. To me, those tiny shows of affection are a very important part of the glue that keeps a relationship strong. And hey, who would ever want to pass up an opportinuty for a kiss? :D |
Thanks for starting this thread, Skip.
...and... Geez, thanks a lot Skip... what ever male machismo I had before will pretty much be toast when I say that: Quote:
*ahem* ...but in all fairness, sometimes it IS the manly thing to do to say "I love you" and be *superfluous* with hugs and kisses to the ones you love. |

I wanted to ad something...i spent some time with my dad today and we were talking about how its been almost 15yrs since my mom died.Childhood sweethearts, soulmates he said to me,then he told me how much he regretted not saying good-bye /i love you on the morning of 3/8/88.Little did he or any of us know that later that nite my mom had an anuerysm burst and died the next day at the age of 43.He's since re-married and regrets that also.
