That image just burnt into my brain

I could not imagine my life without books.
My SO and I love a good soak in a bath with a couple of good books, a bottle or two of wine and some smoked salmon. Not having kids underfoot makes it sooooo much easier. |

I am starting to read more and more. Right now I am reading a book on evolution and the people who told it to the world, the name of the books slips my mind, but it is good reading.

Even tho,I haven't read it,there is a book,that I have been trying
to get!Through our Library,if they don't have a certain book,some- times they can get it,if another Library has it!I heard the author, of this book, interviewed on a talk show, one morning. The book,is titled,"Deriliction of Duty"It is by a Robert Patterson. He was assigned,by the Govt.,to carry the nuclear codes, for Bill Clinton, during his Presidential terms. The, complete, disinterest would scare you to death. The author said that the disreguard of the military, by the Clintons, was so bad, that he couldn't even bring himself, to vote, while he had that job.I'm not judging,if it was right or wrong, but I have to read the book! I'm,originally, from Branford,Conn. The Blackstone Memorial Library,
was there.A man named James Blackstone, donated&had built,a white marble building, books, and a city block to the town.It was right, accross, the street from where I lived& played. When I was a kid,I bet that,I read,at least, one book a dayIt also made a great excuse,to your parents,to get out of your house. You just tell, your parents, that you're going next door,to research, for school. You wouldn't beleive how many girls, that you can meet in a library! They are there because they used the same excuse on their parents! Irish |
