agreed that to each his own but to bring incest into the story would take the fantasy away if it were set in the midwest.

First off, I'm not one for pregnancy with moms/sons. Also, I'm adopted so I think it's quite weird for it to come like that. That's just my perspective because there are so many feelings that go with "abandonment". I might have the opportunity to meet my biological mother one of these days & I really want to meet my bio father & can't imagine wanting to sleep with him.

That's not to say that I haven't been turned on by an incest story. I'm just saying that the plot would have to be super duper for me to find it realistic.

The story would have to explore some intricate plot lines.

Yuppers, agree with most here who say "if it turns you on then that's fine". It's the sort of topic that not everyone's going to like, and some are going to be vehemently opposed to it. Welcome to sex, the internet and reality! lol!

I am kinda curious though. WHY do you want to write about it? What is it about incest that turns people on? The taboo factor? The love and intimacy associated with family?
I'm guessing it's the taboo factor, but hey I'm curious.

Hmmm - I'm interested in the 'moral' side of this topic.......

I have to say that I find it interesting that while in most countries I believe that incest between close blood relations is illegal, it is something that is allowed on this site in terms of stories etc, whereas other illegal things such as bestiality are not considered acceptable.

I also find it odd that stories concerning, say, a girl of 17 are not allowed here while most of us here probably lost our virginity under the age of 18 and that in a lot of countries (Britain included) the age of consent is, in fact 16.

Personally, I find it hard to accept that people here are so quick to judge in favour of a story about incest involving preganancy (which is the whole reason incest is illegal - inbreeding can cause genetic faults etc in the resulting offspring) and yet on the advice thread recently, a person who'd had a sexual relationship with a 16 year old (totally legal in the country in which this happened) was described as 'sick'.

Makes me wonder how much people's morals are born out of their own thoughts and musings, and how much they are born out of the rules of this particular site.

Having said all that, I've never had a problem with reading stories about any of the kind of subjects I've seen here or on other sites - fiction is exactly that, and the issue of incest has fascinated folks since Ancient Greece, and probably earlier.

Jess, Go for it. I'm not that really big on the whole incest thing, but the way you tell a story (read them all) it makes you focus on the love story parts and you forget about the incest. No matter what you do I'll still read it and love it. Keep up the great work !!

Lou, I agree with you, but I'm guessing it's legal reasons that prevent stories involving minors (a rather demeaning term if I may say so) from being accepted. The applicable laws would be US laws as that's where the site is hosted. I don't know exactly what the applicable laws are, but I'm guessing that stories of that kind are considered child porn in the eyes of the law. However, it's slightly more than that, people's attitudes here do seem a little intolerant towards the sort of stories involving people under 18 regardless of legality. Perhaps it hits a nerve with those who have children, I don't know.

Not to stir any emotions here...but I've heard of an actual phenomenon on this exact topic. It was interesting to learn that some adopted males, in finding their biological mother, also discovered a deep seeded need to be totally loved (including sexually) by the one who "abandoned" them! The son's and the mother's explained it as not being true incest because they have never known each other. They rationalize it by their seperation. To them, it would be more like incest if the son had sex with his adopted mother. It's been studied scientifically, and I know I am not providing all the psycological and scientific facts that have been gathered about the cases, but in a nut shell...to them, the deepest love they can give one another is to be as close (physically and mentally) as humanly possible to dissolve any feelings of abandonment and emptiness.

It's odd to me that the reverse isn't so widespread. The study said that it happens, but that a female child is much less likely to act out in this manner with her biological father.

Oh...I forgot to mention...the sexual act is most likely to be initiated by the son as opposed to the mother. In moments of extreme closeness (such as hugging and crying together), he seemingly takes a bolder step towards a sexual act, which is not rejected by the mother. But, there are documented times when the mother has taken the initiative in an effort to ease his feelings of abandonment.

Sorry to get off the topic of...should you or shouldn't you, Jess. Just thought I'd add what I thought was an interesting tidbit.

More to the topic...I say go where the story takes you!

hmm either way jessie, whatever is best for you... i like reading incest stories because theyre a taboo - generic sex stories are things i can just go and act out while incest stories are things which i cant which is good, and in relation to cbass, hes entitled to his opinion but it did seem a personal attack by merely saying "your sick" and thats it.

Lixy has some interesting points to include in your story. The incest stories are read because of the taboo factor. Just like sex in public, etc. Younger/older stories. Few of us would take part in such things, but the idea of forbidden sex is a turn on even to those who don't admit it. I'm glad you have added a poll. It will be interesting to see how people vote. Some say they want one candidate, but when in the booth vote for the other. Ummm. And of course Jessy my sweet, no matter what the subject, your stories alway bring out the ah, well shall we say that we are all busy doing enjoyable things while reading one of your stories.

Jessie, having just read your story I think that (so far) it's really great! You're right, it takes a while to become 'sexy' but I think that's arguably it's best feature - the seduction, the romance etc is very well writtten and becomes as engrossing as the sex scenes!

I find depictions of obviously reckless sexual behavior a turn-off. A pregnancy with that kind of genetic risk I consider reckless behavior.
