If I see creative re-uses it is a check in the plus column. To me, it says a lot :spin:

One time I was driving with a new girlfriend. Ahead of us, at the end of the driveway was a pile of stuff for the trash. She urgently had me pull over and stop so that she could look through what was there. when she jumped back in she was a little embarassed. We'd only been dating for a little while and she didn't know me too well. She didn't want me to think that she was a garbage picker. What I didn't tell her is that I had stopped earlier to look over the same pile :)

By way of explanation I told her that the only thing that would have made the stop any cooler was if she were wearing a "sexy little nothing" with a wolfish grin. that is so exciting to see someone who follows Re-use, Re-duce, Re-cycle.

I like some character in a place. Books. Trinkets. Pictures. Decorations. A little bit of exposure to interests. Too sterile and it leaves me cold.

I notice the scents first like the aromas of incense, scented candles, and the lingering traces of perfume or shampoo in bathrooms and bedrooms. Clutter is always good too because it gives the place a lived in feel and not some sterile or generic straight out of the catalogue look.
