OMG Lil...I absolutely remember that issue with the 3 Musketeers in it! I never saw a Penthouse till I met my first boyfriend. Mom wouldn't allow "porn" in our home.

I read Penthouse because aforementioned boyfriend liked me to read the stories to him in a not-so-well-lit room, naked, with him at the head of the bed and me at the foot of the bed, our legs crossed over one another's and he waxing his carrot as I read story after story. That's one of my better memories of our relationship together. And, BTW, I'd nearly forgotten about it till I read this thread!

The very first book material on human anatomy that I remember stumbling across though, was when I was about 7 and I needed some bobby pins and I was checking my mom's drawer's for a few and found a book called "The Joy of Sex". Who the f*%k knew mom even cared if the act was joyful???? My mom seemed such the prude when we 5 kids were growing up. Tommy (my older, and only, brother) wasn't even allowed to walk around in his underwear. My best friend (Christine S.) couldn't believe I had never seen a penis. She had 5 brother's and they constantly walked around in various states of manliness (if ya know what I mean...lol!).

Well...anyway...when I finally got a boyfriend and let my hair down and got all the info necessary to realize my own sexuality...I think Penthouse was my first and preferable option for erotica!

Geezzzzzzzzzz GF...thanks for the memories!

Penthouse was always a favorite as was Gallery it had more stories in it .

But I do wonder how many guys chose a college from "The Girls Of The Big 10 or some other conference?

The stories in Penthouse were my sex ed reading material and then Forum Letters. I did like Jenna Jameson's pictorial! A few years later got her to autograph that copy while she and another girl were "entertaining" at a club......... ahhhhhhhhhhhh yessss, the mammories........ I mean memories!

I'm still a fan of the Forum letters, and have bought the collections, although I didn't run across Penthouse until I met my college boyfriend, who is now Mr. AZRedHot. I dared to take a quick peek at Playgirl the day I turned 18 and was legal, but was so embarrassed I'd be caught I barely looked.

My dad got Playboy, though, and inexplicably, left it in the household magazine rack. After the first time I stumbled upon it, I made sure I stumbled upon it over and over again. Some of the black and white cartoons still stick in my memory. I can say that looking at the pictures, though, made me feel squishy and I'd end up heading up to my room to rub against any stuffed animal that would have me.

Penthouse

I enjoy Penthouse much more than Playboy and the only thing good about Hustler is the comics. Penthouse has some fantasy shots i love to see and i love to read the stories.

Penthouse

I picked up a copy of Penthouse the other day and was very disappointed. I used to buy one every few months back in college, but this was the first I had purchased in quite a while. Where did all of the smut go??? I guess the new anti-obscenity laws have caused many a good porn mag to fall on hard times... including Penthouse. Penthouse was the one place I could count on to show penetration, girl on girl, groups, etc., and my all time fav... the facial. Now it's nothing more than Playboy with their legs spread wider. Anyone else notice this or did I just pick up a tame copy the other day?

I too loved the letters... go figure, and we'd all end up on a stories forum...

When my b/f at the time's Playboy subscription ran out, I got the subscription to letters. I read the Playboy more than he did was my validation.

The unfortunate part though was that Penthouse was having some financial difficulties a couple years back, so I canceld the subscription. I still have 2 of them, they're hot.

My older brother was a rebel who regularly managed to get his hands on Penthouse magazines. I used to read each of those stories a thousand times.

The first time I bought a copy it wasn't for me. It was for several of the women at work who were too embarassed to buy the "Miss America" issue. Imagine being 19 or so and having several older ladies hand you ten dollars and ask you to buy them a Penthouse. The best part was when I gave it to them. They all gathered around and looked at all of the pictures. They insisted I be there. The comments they made... dang... very... err... detailed... Really opened my eyes.
