I married my wife knowing she NEVER wanted children, even though I did want to be a father one day. Then we were told by multiple doctors that if she didn't get pregnant by the time she was 30 she'd never have children. That was fine after all we had gone into this thing knowing we weren't going to have kids. Then early in '99 she had an ectopic pregnancy this changed everything. Something about losing something she never even knew she had or wanted made her want to get pregnant. A year later our son was stillborn. Two years after that our first daughter was born at only 20 weeks gestation, and died an hour and 20 minutes later. Two years after that my wife went through hell and back to carry our daughter to a point medical science could keep her alive and give us a daughter. She stayed pregnant two full weeks after her water broke out of sheer stuborness. She gave birth ten weeks and one day early but our daughter is alive and well today.
Never say never when you're young and talking about children. Ten years from now you might be surprised what you put yourself through to have a child. |
Hey there!
I have PCOS as well. However, I'm not sure how old you are but, chances are, you WILL start your cycle eventually. Mine was induced by medicine. Also, I was told that I was "extremely furtile" so don't expect your PCOS to bail you out of getting pregnant. Also, I cannot take the pill because it raises my blood pressure way too much. Instead, I use both condoms and contraceptive gel. Better to have more than one barrier just in case. As for the cycle part, my Dr. told me "start it this way or have the period from Hell." Keep things in check..we're at an increased chance at developing cancer. |
