I've never been able to enjoy anal. One of my hang ups i guess.

I don't think that should be called a 'hang-up'. That sounds like you should be able to get over it..... it makes it seem bad that you don't like anal. I don't like seafood. Its not a hang-up, I just don't like it. You don't like anal.... well there's a hundred other positions to enjoy!! I wouldn't worry about it. :)

Hang up is a perfect explanation for some people when it comes to anal sex. Anal is one of those things that if you think it's going to hurt, you're right. You have to be relaxed to enjoy anal, and if you just can't relax because you think it's going to hurt then you're not going to enjoy it.

Now if you've tried it and were relaxed, and you just didn't enjoy the feelings you got from it then I'm in 100% aggreeance. I've talked to quite a few people who claim to dislike anal, and it usually turns out that they've either never tried it or tried it with a partner whose idea of foreplay was whispering "brace yourself" in their ear.
