The word of the day is "catchpole".

catchpole: noun: one who makes arrests for failure to pay a debt.


I have to be honest...my sentence for catchpole wouldn't use the word in its proper context. :p

WildIrish insisted he had no way to repay the debt, but Lilith as catchpole insisted they would work something out. ;)

I like that sentence. I tend to use the word more as a verb. :D


Today's word is numismatic.

numismatic: adjective: of or relating to the study or collection of coins, tokens and paper money


Bullion coins differ from numismatic coins, which are valued on rarity, design and finish rather than their gold content.

Didn't expect a serious one, did you? Well it's hard to pervert numismatic. :p

Would it be numismatic if it were the study of putting singles in a stripper's g-string?

Isn't numismatic a slang way of saying what happens when you've been at it for a very long time. I know my legs can become num ... it is almost auto- matic . :shrug:

Numismatic after a couple of hours of non-stop sex is a natural by-product.

shivaree: noun: a noisy mock serenade to a newly married couple

WildIrish could barely concentrate on the words of their shivery shivaree because of Lilith's white t-shirt.

A shivaree is a good way to get some noisy use out of all those ol' horns and kettles we were going to give the Pixie couple as gifts while serenading them after they get hitched.

I'm glad to see that other people still do that. Yaay!!! Shivaree is not dead!

Yesterday's word was dilatory.

dilatory; adjective; tending to delay or procrastinate

Time and distance have a dilatory effect on coitus between WildIrish and Lilith, but once commenced...quite the opposite will be experienced.

WildIrish was fairly dilatory in posting the word of the day. Lilith has also been somewhat dilatory in sharing pictures of her :boobs:

Then can the word for today be staphylococcus ? It should be.
