Will a trip to the Virgin Islands for recycling make me a virgin again?

I really hope not. At least not until somebody can tell me the desirable aspects of virginity:(. My own never imbued anything positive in me:redghost:. I was thrilled to get rid of it:D. I don’t want to be with a virgin for any reason I can think of:confused:. Hell, ….. I’m looking for partners that can show me new tricks, not somebody I have to teach;) :p :yellghst:.
It seems virginity is like a Barbie or G.I. Joe doll still in the box. Something that never realizes it’s sole purpose and only of value to someone that neither understands or experiences existences:confused: :whiteghos.

WHO SAID ALL THAT?

No PantyFanatic there are religious reasons for keeping virginity as well. Also waiting for marriage to lose it has a psychological effect that is nice. I mean how would you feel if, when you were a kid, you got a G.I. Joe for Christmas and it has already been opened and played with?

MissX 09-25-2002 05:35 PM

Sorry Thinker, Im with PF here, yep I agree that for some it is the right thing to wait until the right partner.....but for me the experience was unpleasant and yes while I regret my choice of partner, I don't regret losing my virginity, it was like an unwelcome house guest, I was so glad to lose it...I could then get on with my life.

Thinker 09-25-2002 06:26 PM

Well Some people are willing to settle for the "hand me down" Barbie/G.I. Joe for Christmas. It is true I guess that for people, espically people who are virgins at and older age, that they would become preoccupied with losing thier virginity, but there is no reason to fret, for wether your a virgin or not, doesn't matter in the end (except from a religious perspective). So from my point a view there is no reason to rush sex, because from a biological perspective when you die it doesn't matter if you had sex before you got married before or after you were married as long as you had children somewhere inbetween. Anyway I am not sure how well I got my point across, but to sum it up: From a biological point of view it doesn't matter if you have sex now or after you get married as long as you have kids before the end.

Ok, here we go. Virginty has no "sole purpose" as you say. And it is true that a virgin is like a G.I Joe, or Barbie that has not yet been removed from the box. But like that G.I Joe, or the Barbie that is still in the box, it's value goes up with time. While the other dolls dirtied and spent are eventually forgotten and/or discarded by its owner. The diffrence between the two path is the type and length of apprecation. While a Doll still in the box in the beginning is apprecated less in the beginning, in the end the apprecation rasies and in the end is much higher than that of the used doll. And when the unused doll is finally given to somone for its original purpose it is apprecated much more than it would have been if it had been used for that purpose in the beginning. (It should be apprent that I am using doll as a metaphor here) And for the last part about "understanding or experiences existences" Inexperience is no excuse for ignorence.
