My guy has stretch marks, too. I don't think I would have noticed them if he hadn't pointed them out. Love is blind? :)

Couldn't have said it better...i have quite a large scare on my stomach from surgery ...and stretch marks from having 2 large babies.Gaining lots of weight and now losing makes them a lot more visible but hey this is me ...and if they don't like it their loss. |
I have stretchmarks, I'm over them, but I have a scar on my right wrist now in the shape of a cresent, and one that I see every time I shave my pubic area, I had a hernia in high school from weight lifting.... 100# jerk and clean on a 110# body, no good. I'm a bit ashamed of them.

I have stretch marks on my breasts which developed when I was a teenager and my breasts appeared somewhat instantaneously.
They were very red and noticeable when I first had them and I was painfully self-conscious about them (as well as being self conscious about their size) but I PROMISE you that they'll fade with time and you'll be left with little silvery mrks which only show in certian lights and angles. And I've never had a guy comment on them, so I assume that's a good thing! :) Proof? Look carefully towards the top of my breasts and you can see them, but I doubt you'd have noticed if I hadn't pointed them out. |

Lovely tits, now what's this about stretch marks? Seriously, every day leaves it's little dings, and the people who try to erase them or deny them aren't accepting their importance in reminding us where and when we've been. If a stretch mark or scar is the single thing on which a relationship hinges, it's shallower than a dry saucer. |

Don't worry.:) From my point of view it's just adds to the natural beauty of a woman's body. When i was younger i didn't think about it to much but now that im getting older all them things just adds to the shape of her body. If a guy complains that he don't like your breast because of that, he would be pretty inmature. You have to take the total package not just part of it.:) |
if everything was perfect, it would get boring.... :)

Well for me stretch marks are nothing to be bothered by. I cannot expect something of someone if I can't do the samething myself. I have stretch marks(thanks to a slightly larger then normal stomach). No big deal.

Arrrrrrrrrgggggggg!
Really touchy subject for me.......but I am so pleased to read these answers. Makes a girl re-think a thing or two! Great answers everyone!..........Just wish I could feel the same way. Long story behind that response............maybe someday I'll share it. |

BamaKyttn, please don't be ashamed of ANY part of you, whatever it might be! I'm not normally a great "quoter", but I agree 110% with Christine (& others) on this subject ~ any marks, scars, tat's, whatever a person has are just a small part of what makes you YOU! I have scars all over from my time in the army, from accidents and just living; I have stretch marks from training too hard when I was younger, and I have 4 tattoos - I CHOSE them, but they're no different to me than any other marks on my body. The way I see it, every mark on a person is also a memory; part of what makes you YOU, no matter how painful it may have been at the time, and just as much as memories or experiences are what made you the person you are today; only difference is, the memories don't show! Sorry to go on so much ~ I'll shut up now, and go away!! DM |
Statuesque, AKSP, statuesque. Wish I could play with them.

Ericthered - I'm sure they'd like that. ;)
