Well just to let everyone know, CGT made it through surgery just fine. The doc said he was very happy with how the surgery turned out. She's a hurting girl right now, but is otherwise doing well. They gave her a "happy button" for morphine which should help her get thru the night. I'm heading back to the hospital early in the morning and will probably stay there most of the day, but I'll try to keep y'all updated as much as I can.

I'd also like to take a moment to say thank you sooooooooo much for each and every one of your kind words, thoughts and prayers. They have meant so very much to both of us. :) You guys are so great!

Glad to hear it went well and that she has a chance of resting tonight.

That is good news! That damn happy button never worked too well for me...I am alergic and found out the hard way - woke up during the night feeling like I had a million bugs crawling all over me and itched terribly!

She also had trouble with the morphine. Said it itched horribly so they switched her to demerol instead. She's still hurtin' but doing ok. She's awake and back to her feisty self. :D On the upside, I got to give her her spongebath this morning. :p

CGT told me to tell y'all that she's hanging tough and thanks for all your concern. :wave:

I had a torn ligament he repaired,shortened some muscles and tightened the capsule. when I can stand the pain they will let me go home.
