having to send this release out this morning:

I loved the Snowbird show at Dayton 2003.

It's sad that something as mundane could do so much harm.

"I've got a blow-out in vapour3. Pitch is out I can't hold it. Capcom I can't hold it she's breaking up, she's breaking up!" has so much more going for it.

I just hope elements in the RCAF who have seen the Snowbirds as an inefficient use of scarce resources can't use it to ground the team.

I almost chuckled at your comparison to a seatbelt malfunction to a blow-out in vapour3. It is ridiculous. A seatbelt! That they knew about!

I don't think there's been too much talk about grounding them, fortunately.

I just left the site and am reading the NY Times. An article with this line did not lift my mood: The World Health Organization estimates that 4.8 million people a year with moderate to severe cancer pain receive no appropriate treatment.

I AM back with you on that one. :(

Steph 09-10-2007 10:13 AM

The Ontario election campaign is kicking off and I was responsible for sending out a shitload of releases for the two main parties yesterday. Back and forth, back and forth they went. It was depressing!

I think the Republican party and your president should lose the election for their "actions" during Hurricane Katrina.

I know some people *cough* had something to say when Canada decided not to join the "war" in Iraq.

I'm watching Spike Lee's documentary on Hurricane Katrina right now (in fact I booted up the computer just to post this).

A parish president is telling them how the Royal Canadian Mounted Police came in to help.

The NO resident said, "How the hell did you get here?"

He said, "I came across the ferry."

The parish president then asked, "Where was the federal government?"

It seems as if everyone believes what they want to believe!I saw an interview,on TV,the other day(Don't know, what network)that my wife had on when I came inside. They were interviewing a woman, who was mandatorily
evacuated,to Texas,during the hurricane.When she & her elderly husband
returned, she found that her home had been foreclosed on.She contacted the foreclosure co,explained the circumstances,& asked if they could catch up on the mortgage payments, because they weren't there to make the payments.
She was told "NO" & the foreclosure was going on.One of the major cotributors,to the co(& their lawyer) was John Edwards.Wether this is true or
not,I don't know & haven't checked out. It's just like people say an election
was" fixed" unless their side won!Anyway the question was what made you sad not who did wrong or right! Irish
P.S.As priviously said,everyone has different views on Politics,religion,etc &
they should not be discussed. One side ALWAYS finds fault with the other!
Irish
P.P.S.Different strokes for different folks.That's why I stopped posting!This
just ends up in one HUGE argument! :curse:

I hope you're OK.

Sometimes the release is the best way to be.

grl2naughty 09-13-2007 08:16 AM

Thanks IowaMan and Oldfart, I will be ok. It is bitter sweet and I am glad she doesn't have to suffer any more but on the other hand I wish I still had her around.

Sorry to hear that.

But I have to admit...now I'm sad that I missed the chance to see osuche running through the airport like OJ, leaping over luggage, breasts moving about, mmmmmmm :slurp:. :D

sodaklostsoul 09-13-2007 06:26 PM

that I only have 40 hours of vacation instead of 80, I get 80 next August when I hit my 3 year mark, cause I could use a week off soon if we had help that would stay around.
