That stand was a candleholder. I ground the tip off where the candle attaches and took a glass bowl and attached it with floral clay. It stands 20" tall. I wouldn't go any higher because the judges need to see the flowers at eye level or below. Yeah the guys at the show were ribbing me about how big it was. They said next time they would bring a ladder so I could work on it. :rofl:

BTW.... Jay-t I emailed you a pic of one I thought was pretty neat.

Congratulations to both of you ... job VERY well done! The flowers are beautiful and it was very thoughtful of you to include pictures of some of the other arrangements in the show .... shows that its not just about the winning for you, but the beauty of the event itself as well! Congrats again!

Well.... here's some Louisiana irises. I think they are gorgeous. I think I'm gonna order some for next year. :)
