I've been busy with 70hr weeks so don't get in here that often these days.... only here now because the cold bug has caught up with me...... Y'all be well! |
Snuck that one past me. Mega giga congrats, wyndhy.
And the bubs. |
thank you all so much! :x:
i can't believe how much better this recovery is going. with the boy it took weeks. i could hardly move. climbing the stairs or getting into bed were out of the question for so long. this time around, i hardly felt much pain after just a few days even though the surgery took lots longer because of the tubal, the dermoid cyst (the pathology showed hair in it! eww, gag, heave :p). turned out i also had placenta previa, not just low-lying placenta. i kept telling the docs something didn't feel right this time around but never really got anywhere with it. guess i wasn't squeaky enough. then i started to loose my mucus plug and it went on for days, so i did get really squeaky about that. i kept saying it was possible that membranes had ruptered but weren't leaking because of the low-lying placenta and with strep b, i didn't want to take any chances AT ALL. doc fortunately sent me for a nonstress test and fluid level check a few days before the surgery. fluid was OK, but that's when they discovered the placenta previa. i was so glad i insisted because it meant i needed to deliver in the regular OR, instead of maternity OR, and prompted my doc to have another sugeon assist, instead of a nurse. they all took such great care of me in there because of the possible complications, and i'm positive that's why recovery is so much easier this time 'around. serendipity baby! |
(((((wyndhy)))))... so glad to hear everything went so well! All the best to you and your growing family! *huggss* to the baby!!!
Coaster hope you have gotten rid of your cold..... 70 hour weeks??!!?? STOP that right now!! You know what they say: All work and no play makes Coaster a dull boy. Go out and play once in awhile eh. ;) UpDate on teddy: My body decided to have an allergic reaction to an antibiodic i've been on twice before with no problem! *Adds it to the allergy list* So i have this really attractive but super itchy rash going on. The doc put me on steroids, good for allergic reactions.... Maybe Arnold the Governator can give me some weight lifting tips. :) lol |
Wyndhy, this seems a surprise to many - and you can include me in that! Many, many congratulations on your new arrival, glad all is well with you both.
