Damn those Crusaders.

Oldfart 01-27-2015 04:08 PM

Our news is telling me that the storm has treated New York lightly.

Has it impacted our Canadian pixies?

BIBI 01-27-2015 10:21 PM

Well where I live we had hardly any but tomorrow may bring lots but the east coast is getting a storm but not any worse I don't think that the usual down there....

Oldfart 01-28-2015 04:17 AM

How is neige coping with the neige?

From what I heard, that was a spelling mistake. Not "Virgins" but "Virginians" ..... :-)

I've heard there are similar religious spelling mistakes. Rumor has it that celebrate was miscopied as celibate.

Oldfart 01-29-2015 12:36 AM

It's the best argument for losing one's virginity.

gekkogecko 01-29-2015 05:18 AM

Would that be the naked snow angel virginity?

Oldfart 02-05-2015 07:05 PM

Possibly, but if you stay out there too long you'd be fucked anyway.

Fangtasia 02-18-2015 09:54 PM

We are in for some severe weather....cyclone Marcia is meant to be heading our way.

dicksbro 02-19-2015 12:46 AM

^^^^ Suggestion ... don't go walking on the beach when the storm hits and keep everything buttoned down at home.

Seriously, just be careful if the storm strikes near where you live, Fangtasia. :wish:

PantyFanatic 02-19-2015 10:52 AM

Sharni? Is it possible for Marcia to get over the hump? :yikes:

I'm wondering how IAKaraokeGirl is doing. Last we heard she was still living right outside Boston.

Yep apparently, wont be a Cat 5 like it currently is though....probably down to a cat 1 or severe storm status apparently

Wind, rain, flash flooding meant to be happening

Fangtasia 02-20-2015 12:11 AM

News story

Cat 1 Cyclone could hit Toowoomba

dicksbro 02-20-2015 12:43 AM

Have you tried putting a big sign in the yard saying,

ATTENTION MARCIA:

TOOWOOMBA ... 200km NORTH!

PantyFanatic 02-20-2015 02:13 AM

That should do it. I put up a sign like that and we seldom have any hurricanes

gekkogecko 02-20-2015 08:04 AM

That's because, pF, you sign is extremely misleading. Toowoomba isn't 200km north of you.

PantyFanatic 02-20-2015 09:21 AM

^^^ :roflmao:

Sharni, be safe, she's a biggin.

Oldfart 02-20-2015 05:58 PM

She'll be a baby by the time she hits Toowoomba, a destructive and irrational baby.

Even sub-Cyclone storms can be really really bad news.

Fangtasia 02-21-2015 12:08 AM

We will get quite a bit of rain apparently, and some wind to go with it, thankfully it is losing momentum.
Still I feel for the people dealing with her aftermath

dicksbro 02-21-2015 12:42 AM

Glad to hear it's winding down. Hopefully the damage and problems won't be too great and that recovery will be fairly swift.

sodaklostsoul 02-21-2015 08:40 AM

Mother Nature seems to get a little nuts!!!!

Hope everyone is ok where ever they are!!

Yeh, well, if people were fucking with you constantly over the course of centuries, wouldn't you go a little nuts?

It's snowing here, and depending on whom you listen to, the accumulation should be either 4-8", 5-9" or 6-12". That's anywhere from 10cm to 30cm in "real" measurement. Followed by sleet & freezing rain. And all the stores around here are out of rock salt. Blargh.

Oldfart 04-11-2015 02:39 AM

Are all our people safe in the Illinois tornado zone?

gekkogecko 04-11-2015 12:17 PM

um, the "Illinois tornado zone" would be...Illinois. And Iowa. And Indiana. And Kansas. And...

dicksbro 04-12-2015 01:06 AM

So far, we're doing okay. That tornado that hit Illinois was about 100 miles north of us. We got some pretty heavy rain and some pretty good wind gusts (50-60 mph or so), but not much damage except for limbs down and things like that. Keeping our fingers crossed for the rest of spring. :)

Oldfart 04-28-2015 12:48 AM

Hey jseal, have you finished rioting yet?

jseal 04-28-2015 03:28 AM

It's been a quiet evening here in Highlandtown, but I did place a couple of orders.

Oldfart 04-28-2015 06:51 AM

See if you can get me a half dozen too, please.

Oldfart 05-06-2015 05:25 PM

Norman, OK, tornados on the ground now.

Be safe or we'll be cross with you.

jay-t 05-06-2015 08:20 PM

they went about 5 miles north of us,lots of damage and flooding 8 plus inches in 4 hrs. and still raining.

jay-t 05-06-2015 08:44 PM

If the tornados weren't enough it hit a wildlife park,we now have lions.tigers a couple of grizzles and assorted cats running around and pissed off.Telling people to stay indoors.

dicksbro 05-07-2015 01:53 AM

Have they managed to recapture the animals that got loose yet?

jay-t 05-07-2015 02:58 PM

Yes they caught all of them this morning.Runied my chance to go big game hunting.

Lord Snow 05-07-2015 07:32 PM

That sucks. I wanted to get me a pet tiger.

Though I just realized something. You had lions, and tigers, and bears......Oh My!

Oldfart 01-24-2016 03:00 AM

January 2016 blizzard.

Are we all OK?

jseal 01-24-2016 05:23 AM

Wow! What a snowstorm!

The snow fell steadily for twenty eight hours.

Oldfart 01-24-2016 06:30 AM

This may be why PF has a fixation on furnaces.

I am most certainly *NOT* OK. Shoveling 2+1/2 ft of snow hurts a body.

Teddy Bear 01-24-2016 09:21 PM

Doing ok here in RI. We didn't get as much snow as they thought we might. I think we got about 10-12" But we did have wind!! So its hard to say how much snow we really got with the wind blowing the snow sideways!!

And I am happy to say We Did NOT lose electricity!! That is unbelievable because we almost always lose power. ALWAYS!!

dicksbro 01-25-2016 01:37 AM

Glad to hear you're okay Teddy Bear ... sounds like our gecko got a little more work than anyone needs. Sorry about that. :(
