Tank updates:

5ft ~ hasn't change very much at all

4ft ~ a few changes


3ft ~ This is a new tank, the old one decided to start bowing in the sides, NOT a good thing. So a new scape here...work in progress


My little goldies have grown, and with the tank shuffle, a 2ft became available, so they moved from

Update:
The piece of wood is finally settling down with releasing tannins. Only slight tinge now, so shouldn't be long before it stops altogether.

I've finally got around to putting a black background on the tank, i think it looks far better.

Update:

5ft - fully pulled down. No longer a planted tank. Re-scaped for my cichlids.

More rocks, pots & electric yellows to be added


4ft - Planted now, angels etc moved into here. No new pic as yet.

3ft - Growing in nicely


Goldies have moved from a 68L tank to a 88L, decor very similar to above :)

I'm currently looking into setting up a brackish tank (140L) so more to come when things start happening

Scooby Doo....

Scooby hasn't been well :( He cant eat or drink without gagging, he's lost so much condition over the last week and a bit, he looks bad sadly.

He has a vet visit today....please keep my old boy in your thoughts....i'm hoping they can help him live more years yet...but i dunno....got that bad feeling.

PF, praying that Noah will do her naked vet nurse impression AND post pictures at a time like this is a bit much. Shame on you for even thinking this. Go and stand on the corner, no, not that one, Euclid and Ontario. I'll check Google Maps in 15 minutes just to keep you honest.

OF ~ We got him at 12 weeks.

Sadly Scoob had a tumor that was near his heart, looked to be around his aorta. It went to his lungs and was partially blocking his windpipe. I chose to have him pts as he was starting to suffer from its presence.

I will seriously miss him. He was picked up this morning by Pets in Peace. He is to be cremated and returned to us, his family.

He was blessed. Many humans don't get that much love in an entire lifetime.

I'm going to eat a duck for dinner tomorrow. :cool:

Lot's of hugs, Noah. I know we were deeply saddened when our cat, Pokey, passed away. He's buried in our back yard with a concrete "kitty statue" marking his resting place. It is like losing a member of your family. You're in our thoughts and prayers and we'll say one for Scoob, too, that he'll now rest in peace.

In memory of the great Scooby Doo, we DID feast on half a roast duck and washed it down with some Shoo Fly from South Oz. :wine:

Scooby came home today......
