How was the Criss Angel show?

Lord Snow-I was very disappointed. It was for 1) not Criss Angel and 2) fake magic :p Thank God my Most Honorable Son #2 is blind practically so he thought it 1) was him and 2) was awesome.

Shhhhh. Everyone is out at the pool and I've stayed behind to soak in the big ass awesome tub here. AZ and her man have made it but we have yet to meet. Aqua and I spent some quality alone time this afternoon, sans Aqua's body guard. :hot:

Bummer on the show. Technically, all magic is fake. However, it's how it's done that makes the trick impressive. I watch mainly to try and figure out how it was done.

Not if it was poorly done. That and I bought a deck of Criss Angel cards which I would want him to sign if I got the chance. If it wasn't him on the stage, I doubt he'd be backstage for signing an autograph.

He's signing on the 31st.


Tonight was so lovely. AZRedHot is indeed red hot and her Mr. is a cutie too. PF was caught panty snooping, and it was all I could do to keep mine on ;)

Dinner was fabulous. The OldFarts are such gracious hosts. TaXXXman was generous with sharing me and Aqua was my manwhore. All is right with the world.

We all converged on Vegas, but it is safe to say that the OFs are the hosts for this years event. (Even if OF did try to shoot my thumb off. :yikes: )

Today was such a great day! (Even considering my thumb injury.) I have really enjoyed getting to spend some time with my fellow Pixies and have especially enjoyed the time I had in the presence of TaXXXman and Most Honorable Son #2.

Dinner was beyond fantastic and my lips are still smiling.

Lil is correct... all is right with the world. :)

Wish I was there. Sounds like (dispite Aqua's injury) like a good time is being had by all! Hope it continues and that you all bring back six gazillion pictures to share. (Lil, think of what that'll do for the posting totals :D )

It's been a great time so far. Dinner and conversation were fabulous, and I am now waiting for MY big ass bathtub to fill so I can soak before breakfast. It's a tough life, but I'm trying to make it through. :P

Dang I wish I could have been in Vegas! Aqua, I know how you feel. After the first one we attended in Niagara, all we could do was think about the next year in hopes we could get together again. Missing this one was really a downer. :(

I really wish you and the Mrs could have been here, db. Another time... this will not be the last get together I attend. :)

Started off the day with a suicidal luggage bag. It ripped at the seams. After the purchase of a new one, PF and I were off to breakfast with the RedHots and the OFs. Then it was naptime, (I know it's hard to believe, but for reals... it's been a busy week), followed by lunch at the pool, a goodbye to PF, a hunt for Mt Dew, some relaxation, and then our final dinner in Vegas. It was a good long meal with too much consumption of food. :p I am soooo stuffed. All that's left is a final pack, some sleep, and then getting up bright and early to get to the airport.

I am SO glad I made this trip. A truly wonderful experience. :)

PF's right when he says you can't possibly know what your missing until you get together with fellow Pixies and find out that, if anything, they're better than you realized from just posting here. A better bunch of people would be hard to find.

Another time will happen and maybe that time we'll be there. I know for sure we'll try.

Lil is so right... AND I couldn't tell you how often she warned me that I'd be disappointed, because I lost count. (Though the truth is she is every bit as wonderful in person as she is online.) I was a little worried it'd be awkward, but hanging out and talking with everyone was as easy as logging in and reading/replying to a post.

As mentioned, my choice of chance is on the craps tables. :D A trip to Monaco and playing in Le Grand Casino of Monte Carlo is the only place on earth more fetching of participating than Las Vegas. After a long absence (which our cab drivers were quick to point out :o ) from repeated visits past, I confess to the attraction and did take an allocated daily purse for the dancing dominos. As I seemed to be the solo PAGAN with such a desire, gaming was not on the top of our option list and probably was well. :rolleyes2 So PAGANS being the considerate bunch they are, after the fantastic dinner we sojourned on a cooler evening (96F [37C] :faint: ) stroll for the sights on the strip and possible encounter with a croupier.

We did happen onto a double ended table at the Encore but would have not been my first choice with a $25 minimum. [For the craps players~ My bet method is a minimum 'Don't Pass' on the come-out roll, then only bet minimum across the 4, 10 and 5, 9 box bets with a double on the bottom of the point. I backup the 'wrong' with the table odds of 3 times for the outside or 2 times for the 5 or 9. I never bet the 6 or 8 with only the 6 to 5 odds and don't back the 'wrong' with 5 ways to make the point and 6 ways to 7-out. You can see the balance of the 'stay bets' against the 'wrong' if the point is made and the payoff if it isn't for minimum wins and looses until a few good point runs and the 7-outs come together for good hits and you go home.] With uninterested but polite friends standing by from walking off the decadent dinner and a $25 min table, I put two day play money up with a modified method and chanced for the initial runs. In the next ten minutes it didn't happen! LOL

The next afternoon we headed to the Mirage for pre-show dinner and came upon a $10 table. :D Still above my method bankroll I again put the other two days allocation together and ran a few minutes, again with my trusty companion, OldFart, standing by. After a steady grind downwards I found the secret. OldFart left to catch up with the group in the restaurant.DO NOT let OF or Lilith near you when gambling!!! ;) I walked away with $70sum of my stash in 10 minutes.

After witnessing the mind blowing show, "Love", we returned for drinks and a long chat session (it's what we do best :nod: ) in the opulent lobby of the Trump. :) As the night wore on the kibitzing and other activities of the day took their toll by midnight, so I left for Circus-Circus where Aqua and I were staying. The driver left me off at a different door and low-and-behold, ……..my path took me through the pits where there were $5 min tables. :D :D I had the remnants of my gambling money and could run a few cycles my way. After an hour and a half I had $17 more than I came to town with and knew this was not going to gold strike visit, so I packed it in after the few short skirmishes and something better than a loss for my renewed contact with Vegas. :rofl:
