Hope that the servicing goes well, gecko, and that you're back with us soon.

Pretty smooth, actually. Next week, I have Balticon to deal with, though.

Balticon? Wasn't that the bad guy in Harry Potter? KD :spin:

Seriously, hope it comes off better than expected, gecko!

No, Balticon is B-more's regional s/f convention. This one is Balticon 50, so the powers what is are trying to get as many of the past GoHs as possible to show up for it. In addition, this year we have as our Guest of Honor George RR Martin; consequently, the venue has changed to a largest hotel, with several overflow hotels within walking distance.

My particular job there is to run logistics between the prep room & the con suite/green rooms. Oh, what fun.

To be a part of the turmoil? Priceless.

For those who like to take their Science neat, Ethan Siegel, who blogs at Starts With A Bang! will also be there. I have a couple of questions I hope he'll be able to answer.

While I am always open to others' POVs, and would love to learn the answer to your question (who wouldn't?), Dr. Siegel usually limits his blogging to astrophysical topics.

BSFS has assembled and is delivering a very satisfying Balticon 50. :thumb:
