Oh, the thought probably happens every now and then, but I suspect it's more of a verbal response to something really negative ... 911; a mass shooting somewhere; things like that ... but most of it I think is a verbal reaction rather than a true wish. What do you think?

If your asking if the mind can exist without the body ... I would say yes if we're talking in the spiritual realm where the body as we know it no longer exists.
