Here's a few pics from my life in the past few weeks!

First, one day on the dig, we were out in the evening for a professional photo shoot - and I tell you, they couldn't have planned it for a better day... At the time of that photo, both rainbows were complete and stretching across the sky.

The next two are from Wilderness and I's camping trip from a couple days ago! The first photo is the waterfall near where we were camped. The other photo is of the inside of the cave we went into! Notice the white sand underwater...

Something I had never seen in my town before.......... the ice cream truck. I barely was able to get the camera in time to snap a pic before he got past the house.

Oldfart 09-12-2008 11:39 PM

What's the point, he's out of almost everything?

dicksbro 09-13-2008 07:15 AM

IowaMan, did you chase him down and get us all an ice cream cone?

IowaMan 09-16-2008 11:26 AM

Nope, didn't go chasing after him. Not really sure why he was driving around town, it was only in the upper 50's that day.

I dunno, that would be enough to cause half the drivers in Gnashville to drive into a ditch.

Three more "Illinois Panoramas." Kind of fun creating them.

Vicious things they are.

Did you know they are used as guard dogs for sheep?

Oldfart 10-13-2008 04:41 PM

DB, what are you using to stitch the pics?

Here are some I took today at a park about 15 miles from my house. It was a beautiful and very relaxing afternoon.

Much of this park was flooded back in June but it has bounced back very nicely. :)

dicksbro 10-14-2008 04:50 PM

Pictures are beautiful IM! It does look very relaxing.

Great pics everyone, some really beautiful scenery

I caught dicksbro's panorama bug so here are one or two from me as well as some random pics taken yesterday. The deer pics aren't too great, but I managed to snap a couple before they ran off. There was another baby but it was hiding behind a tree :)

dicksbro, the pictures you've posted recently remind me of the area around where I live, but I'm sure we're not neighbors ;)

PantyFanatic 10-15-2008 10:21 AM

WOW! I see we have a number of good photographers.

TY :)

dicksbro 10-15-2008 06:13 PM

Those are cute, Aqua! Have you been visiting IowaMan's cat house? :)
