Ever since some dang Welsh guy told me he sounds something like Tom Jones, the Tom Jones Greatest hits has been playing in my car CD player ---- months now, every day every time I'm in the car ....stopped having anything to do with the original reason ... now I'm just hooked on the songs (ones I knew well in childhood too) - LOL!!!

incitatus 01-14-2003 11:29 PM

Lil,
I think the album that best describes you is:
"Strong Persuader" -Robert Cray

Lilith 01-15-2003 12:01 AM

Lmao fzzy.....nothing like Tom Jones:D but would pay $93882853385204383428 to hear him sing, "what's new pussy kat?" LOL *note to self* remember to ask to be serenaded:p

incitatus~ excellent choice;)

fzzy 01-15-2003 01:07 AM

Lilith --- I'd be willing to chip in the same amount .... and serenaded is ALWAYS good!!! LOL!

Woman goes to the doctor.

"Doctor every time I close my eyes, I hear Deleilah in my left ear. I open my eyes, but when I close them again, I hear The Green Green Grass of Home in my right ear. Plaese Doctor - Is it serious?"

"Don't worry Madam. It's not unusual."

Sorry for that one.

Lil' darlin - Mars - from Holst's Planets.

skipthisone 01-15-2003 10:29 AM

My most worn out CD has to be Eric Clapton Unplugged, just good driving blues music...not to mention it just sounds great in the car.

Oldfart 01-15-2003 01:29 PM

Tubular Bells.

But I'll go along with "Mars"

Aqua 01-15-2003 01:45 PM

I need to get Mars on CD so I can wear it out... ;)

In the past I wore out a tape with Tubular Bells being performed by a group called Book of Love. Anytime I hear today I get goose pimples.

quisath 01-15-2003 10:31 PM
