Great news...It's about time that Texas enters the 20th century.

Believe it or not they are one of 31 states with sexual practice laws that are very specific.

Amazing that the legislators ever bothered to make the laws.

The NY Times had a big story on it today and gay activists were quoted as saying it was a major move . . . my province has just legalized gay marriage. I wonder when Texas will look into that? :)

LOL I love it! There have been quite a few gay American couples crossing the border to get married. Toronto City Hall is even keeping the marriage licence dept. open over the weekend because of the anticipated demand during Gay Pride weekend (the huge parade is on Sunday). I expect to see a lot of "Just Married" signs on floats :)

Finally, I can rest a little easier about all that time I spent in Texas!!!

Oh, and by the way Skip...Don't complain about the wait....You're still several hours in front of me. I should have brought a tent and a cooler. But believe me, I know it will be worth the wait!!!

I am glad the Law was passed ..................what two people do in Privacy is nobodys concern. It was a stupid Law that needed changing. Nough said.........................okay everyone in the POOL.

To me that law was an invasion of privacy for straight and gay people. Whether someone approves of it or not, what goes on in private, in someone's bedroom, is not the State's business.

I just love when people assume they can make decisions on my behalf....even if they don't know me from Adam. These laws about what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own home are so ludicrous and antiquated that it's about time the courts reversed them!
