What gets you off more Stories or Pics?
 

Since I have dove head first into this writing stories thing.
I am wondering if you can't be with the one you want, what media would you prefer to use to you know :rolleyes: get off?

I have heard that in general most men, the visual beasts that we are, prefer the pics and that most women prefer the stories (I have never seen a romance novel marketed for a man).

Please any thoughts on the subject will help me with future stories.

1 vote for stories here!!! I think it just takes me a bit longer to get physically aroused and stories accomodate this. I can enjoy a story for a lot longer than a pic. I get really turned on when I look at a sexy pic, but there's only so much it will do for me after looking at it for about 30 seconds!

Really, though, it's said that a picture paints 1,000 words, and I've always thought that the opposite must be true by ten-fold.

Pics are ok but a story is much better. One that starts slowly and builds, with lots of detail, and carrys through to the end. I hate stories where they meet, fuck and go, all within a paragraph.

Pictures put someone else's images in your mind.

Stories make you create your own images.

Stories for me, but don't stop the pics.

Since my brain is my largest sex organ, it only makes sense that to arouse my mind is the wisest course of action. Stories win, hands down. I love the occasional romantic poem, too.

I love, love, love, love, love, love, really enjoy pics. I want to see it, and then build a story in my mind about touching it, kissing it, smelling it, licking, munching, drilling, rubbing myself all over it.

The stories do it for me..... but that's probably how it is for most women....and men probably want a visual. I love to read a good hot story or love for him to tell me all the details just like a story.

Pics. I love stories... but I love the pics. Especially the ones in my private collection of a certain Pixie that I shan't name. ;)

I prefer stories........... still read them here while playing smut games.

Thank you all for your thoughtful response but I think the poll is skewed since it is posted on Pixies. I still think that most men are visual creatures and need the pics to get off :sex: , but I do understand needing the stories since I have been addicted to them since reading the penthouse letters and their forum when I was younger.

I don't have a suggestion for the story fans since I haven't found a better site than pixies. Do you have any suggestions on where I can find other good story sites? Or do you have a favorite that you want to share? Please do!

Anyone else have this problem...once I have read a story or watched a porn, or looked at pics that is it for I'm done. I would be interesting to see if I am the only freak like this.

Stories... UNLESS... the pictures are of Someone i already know and desire.

Pics definately get me off more. Since having the power of the Internet on my laptop it's been ever better (visiting the sites us men never visit NOT :) ). But stories can also do things for me. It sometimes leads me to write stories similar.

Well today I loved both....and both got me off. So I am torn today. I'll answer again tomorrow.
