Favorite Fast food joint???
 

Just recently they closed the BurgerKing down ...I was bummed about that until I learned they were turning it into an Arbys! I Love Arbys and up until now the closest one has been a 20 minute drive each way .... so didn't make it there very often .... Arbys just opened yesterday ... had lunch and dinner there yesterday and today .... Could probably do it again tomorrow .... but I won't ....

Anyway ... what is your favorite fast food place ... any particular item you like best there?

Subway or Chick-Fil-A....... lately I'm a whore for this yummy fruit and gorgonzola salad at Crisper's

I'm with Lil on subway, but the next favorite would have to be Burger king

Probably have to be Wendy's....but haven't been there in awhile.

Taco Bell, Wendy's and Burger King are my favorites.

I'm a sucker for Mighty Taco, a local taco chain that Taco Bell can't hold a candle to. :) MilkToast will know what I'm talking about.

Rubio's is mine for sure. The fish tacos can't be beat. When we first moved to La Jolla, my kids went nuts for them.

The signs are different colors, but I just pull-up to a window, give them money, they hand me a bag of McSomething and I eat dinner.:blink:

Yes, I have heard of this Mighty Taco from co-workers as well. I have actually never been to one. Next time I am little more west of here I will need to stop at one.

If I have to pick a fast food joint I'm going with McDonald's as I actually like the salads (gasp!) that they have there. However, I'll take a sandwich from a local chain (DiBella's) any day of the week.

Personally I have a thing for good Chinese...and the local takeout is one town away. Here in town I tend to visit Mickey D's a lot cause my sister works there, but I usually just do breakfast,,,I do so like a good biscut.

I try to stay away from fast food, but when the urge hits and isn't going away, I like to go to Bojangles. I think it's mostly a southeastern chain, but it's big here. They do chicken (like KFC but 10x better) and stuff like that.

We have this place here...1 Fresh Stir Fry...it's not a chain. And they have a variety of starches, (white rice, brown rice, white and wheat pastas), a variety of proteins including tofu, a long list of veggies,a section of toppings (green onions, nuts, sesame seeds, roasted garlic, etc.) and a list of about 8 sauces (including Asian, Mexican, and Italian types). You fill out a check list and they stir fry it. My family loves it because it's fast, can easily be healthy. and is delicious. The guy who owns it sends his customers love notes every week. He whispers a little secret that gets you extra stuff in your stir fry or free drinks etc. He opened it in an abandoned old fast food restaurant and it's just taken off. Oh and my kids fave part is that he gives out these gigantic golf ball sized malted milk balls with each order.

OHHHH Cherry I almost forgot about Bojangles...I had that a couple of time when I was in the Land of the never ending Bon Temps........

They do have the best Chicken.........

As my place of employment is basically in the middle of a fast food precinct, my waistline is in grave danger of expanding....there's:

McDonalds
KFC
Pizza Hut
the cafe next door
Subway
a fish and chip shop
Burger King
a chinese take-away
another pizza place

...and I love 'em *all* :)

Subway and Cici's Pizza are my two faves. The baby, however, has me craving Taco Bueno ... or anything Mexican for that matter.

i remember mighty taco! they make their tacos so weird, with the sliced cheese under everything else, but really good.
for me it's long john silver's. there aren't any close to me but that's a good thing, i'd eat it too often

My dad used to take me to Captain D's (fish) a lot. I have warm memories...but I HATE the food. Except for the hushpuppies, which are sooo good with vinegar and catsup....but damn if they aren't little coronary balls. :(

My fave fast food is prolly Wendy's... unless you're including pizza chains... then it's Pizza Hut. :D

Seriously, the closest fast food from my place is about 40 minutes... But when I do get into town I love A&Ws teen burgers and onion rings - yummmmmmmm :D

i love pizza hut, too! alas, they have tanked in my area...nary a one for miles and miles :(

Arby's is my favorite, too. I remember the first one I went to was in Champaign, IL when my wife and I lived in Decatur (many years ago). Every week or two, we'd make the 40 mile run to pick up Arby's. They were basically plain roast beef then ...

... now ... I love the Beef and Cheddar and there's one here in our town. YIPPEE!! Darn, I'm getting hungry. :)

It really depends on the day and the craving....

Burgers and Fries - Culvers, but since the closest is about 40 miles away, McD's
Mexican - Taco Bueno
Subs - Big Mikes (darn I miss it, BCG will know what I'm talking about), but Subway will do.

i have to say im a McD's loyal goer... damn have you ever had the shamrock shakes?? love those things! i figured out how to make them at work so ha thats what i drink all day! im sure i'll get sick of 'em soon enough but until the... SHAMROCK SHAKE here i come!!!

also a huge fan of pizza hut! best gosh darn bread stix... yummy
