Osuche's Update
 

SOme of you might have noticed some comments about an eminent relocation to California.....my av might have been a clue. :p

For those who are interested, here's what's going on. :)

My husband and I are relocating to San Francisco. I've found a job out there, and we're in proces of buying a house. In fact, we're putting down an offer on one today. :faint: Houses are expensive in San Francisco!

Here's the timeline:

4/8 ~ My last day of work at my current company
4/18 ~ Day we move out of our hosue in Ohio
4/25 ~ Day I start my new job in San Francisco
??? ~ Day we move into our new house (pending offer acceptance, financing, and all that)


If you see me pop in and out of Pixies without contributing much, or a lot slow to respond to PMs....please be patient with me. I have 100 balls in the air right now, and it's a bit challenging.

I think you will enjoy San Francisco, there is so much here that is available, but yes, the cost of living is VERY expensive, I can attest to that. Moving always sucks, especially cross country, but I think it will be worth it in the end for you, good luck and soon the whole ordeal will be over and done with.

For sure, you've got our best wishes that everything works out absolutely to perfection.

We'll sure be glad when you get settled in and back to Pixies on a steady basis, but, know you're in our thoughts when you're not here.

(I'll still miss the Ohio waves. So, here's one for the road :wave: )

Thanks everyone for the support and well-wishes.

We didn't get our "favorite" house -- our bid was second highest and we're the contingency buyer. :( I am bummed because the house was truly special.

We had two other houses we liked moderately well. We're bidding on one of the tonight. Wish us luck!

Well....we were the second highest offer again. <sigh> But they have countered us...and two other offers....so we plan to accept their counter and see what happens.
