I have seen peeps ask or place up for grabs all sorts of stuff. What is the weirdest thing you have either requested or given away?

One of those hospital urinals thingies that men use.. :D Someone wanted to use one for a planter.. :rofl:

i've heard people collect those....at least they wanted it for a planter and not for its originally intended use.

i've never seen anything weird on the one around here but i don't check it out much.

There's someone on our board who today posted that she needed a live trap--to catch a lost cat. :confused:

Just today my head did the Scooby shake when I saw someone was offering an electric snow shovel!

OOOOOOOOO Steph! Those are so cool! The snow doesn't get stuck on the blade! :D

Also, the snow piles can be sliced like butter with a warm knife.. :rofl:

I have one of those shovels....absolutely great! It's a bit more than a shovel you plug in...it blows the snow away as you glide it through.

Here in town some is giving away a pair of size 10 snow pants with patches on the knees.....

LOL.... those are snowblowers. I was thinking of a "Red Green" type of shoves with jumper cables hooked up to a shovel causing the blade part to warm up thus being able to cut through snow easier.. :rofl: (With lots of duc tape and maybe PF holding onto the handle.. ;) )

You post things you don't want anymore & can post requests for things you want. It's free & you're recycling -- freecycling but it reminds me of biking, too.

My best score to date was a toaster oven. People have given away pianos on the site, too! Damn my third-floor walk-up.

the freecycle here in Jacksonville only has things like costumes and clothes
there was a boat yesterday, but I have noticed a lot of breast pumps on there.

i don't think the breast pump is all that wierd..they are very expensive and you use them for such a short period of time. they can be sterlized so i don't see the weirdness.

Damn, I had a feeling the magic bullet might not have been what I thought.

The breast pump request isn't too weird but come on! Showing up at some stranger's door in the afternoon to take something that once was on their boobies? It's a fantasy of WI's I'm sure but it's kinda weird to think about the meeting.

Ok, so we're a bit rural.

THERE ARE 3 CHICKENS ONE POLISH CHICK ONE WHITE FRIZZLE AND ONE BIG
BEAUTIFUL ONE BUT NOT SURE WHAT KIND. THE POLISH CHICK HAS SOME LEG AND FEET ISSUES BUT THE OTHER 2 TAKE CARE OF HER SO THEY MUST STAY TOGETHER. SHE IS GETTING RID OF THEM BECAUSE THE 3 DON'T GET ALONG WITH HER CURRENT CHICKENS. THESE 3 HAVE BEEN GETTING BEATEN UP SO THEY MUST BE SEPERATED FROM THE OTHERS. HOPING THAT THEY CAN FIND A NICE HOME!!!
