What I found in Niagara
 

I found that Pixies is just fine the way it is. :) I found that our active members are the straight-up, smart, fun, sexy and caring people we see on this board. :blink:

I found that Pixies is NOT a sex site! It is an adult site with the sex that comes with being a mature adult, but in a comfortable and accepting way that doesn't fit easily into the societal norm. I found Pixies are an example of courteous, non-judging, friendly and open attitudes that this screwed up world can use as a standard to shoot for. :rolleyes2

I found that Pixies does not have a logo or emblem because it shouldn't. The varied replicas and imagery of 'pixies' that are prolific in every form is accurately representative of the individuals that make up our special community. No single symbol or motif is what we are about. :D

I found I liked what I found in Niagara. :nana:

Based on the several Pixies I've met, I would agree wholeheartedly.

Well I've only ever met one Pixie face to face, and I liked him enough to marry him, so I'd have to agree with you PF!

I've only ever met one Pixie in person, but I've talked to several via phone, email and IM and I agree with you for sure PF!

PF really hit the nail on the head. Pixies is a wonderfully unique site with wonderfully unique people who are truly very special. At the site; on the phone, or, in person, it seems that we really are in life what we show at Pixies. Is that great, or what?

After Niagara, I really am more anxious than ever for the next opportunity we have to meet more of this loving family and to "re-meet" the folks we've already met. My wife feels the same and is equally anxious for our next "get-together."

One more thing. A very special Thank You goes out to PF for all the work he did to make this work. I know he put in a lot ... and I mean A LOT ... of time on this and my hat's off to him. It couldn't have worked out any better (unless we would have had several more days to be together. ;) ).

Yes sir. I think you are correct.

The reason he knows this is because he worked with me. His help is what made the many details be completed and turned our gathering into something more special than any of us had thought. It was every Pixie that was able to be there that made PAGAN such an exceptional event. :cheers:

I've yet to make any face time with any pixies, but I'm more than ready to put PF's thesis to the test...

I totally agree with you PF. Pixies is a very special place that a lot of wonderful people call "home" and I would love to meet each and everyone of my Pixie family. :kisser:

I think it was dear Lixy who asked if there were any tears upon departure. I have to admit I shed a few walking the dog after PF left on Sunday morning.

Because we were in constant motion, we didn't get a chance to talk much. I was so swamped at work that it was tough to even get there. Work was just busy for another few days & now it's deadsville. I want another Pixies gathering next weekend! :boohoo:

Once the old guy (the dog, not PF :D ) passes, I'll be travelling more. It just makes sense to travel with/to Pixies, I think.

Ok I confess.....wrong thread but so what.........I started tearing up at a couple of different times but managed to hide it.


Not a day has went by that I don't think of PAGAN......it was truely a wonderful weekend meeting Pixies and the memories will last forever.

It was a little more than any of us expected, wasn't it? :)

I just have to say that the three posters before me have said a lot about our little get togather. One thing for anyone planning a get togather, plan a lot of time to just sit and talk to everyone. This was an experiance I will not forget nor the people we meet and will be looking forward to other meetings with my Pixie family. If you do it once, you'll want to do it again.

PAGAN 06 Pics

I did...I was just hoping there'd be more, greedy ole bastard that I am...

I hoped there'd be more too *L*.....so i must be greedy too :D

I believe OF will be sorting a months collection of pics as soon as recuperation has taken place, then adding to the PAGAN event. I'm trying to talk him into sharing his other interesting travels in a separate thread.

That's what I was wanting to hear...I also figured that maybe not ALL the cameras there were new-fangled digital types, & maybe someone might be still waiting for drugstore to give em back...

I've got well over three hundred pictures that I can share, but will have to reduce them in size so that they can be uploaded. They were all taken at 5MP (3200x2400) and I found I have to reduce them to about 800x600 to work. I'll get busy and do some more but it might be a couple days before I get them posted and I will be a little selective.

did you guys go to the ripley's museum?

nevermind. if you had, pf would have been mistaken for an exhibit and he'd still be there. :D
