bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
We have a family at my school who have the worst infestation I have ever seen. Be sure to bomb your car. |
We've had a couple bouts with the nasty little buggers over the years.
Pain.In.The.Ass. I feel for you Sharni. :console: |
You're not Noah!
You don't have to collect EVERY critter that passes by. :cock: :bfly: :sperm: :vamp: :fish: :mickey: :ewe: :roflmao: |
How do you get hit with them in the first place? They just latch on from other sources?
|
I think she had an extra aquarium and just couldn't find anything else quick enough.
 |
One of my daughters had them when she was younger and it was hell trying to get rid of all of them. Long, thick hair is a bitch when it comes to head lice. After 2 over-the-counter failures, we finally got the doc to give in and prescribe something.
Another daughter had them when I was 5 months pregnant with yet another daughter. I caught them from her and the doc made me wait for two days before he'd ok something that he felt wouldn't harm the baby. Talk about feeling your skin crawl. I feel for you Sharni. I'm glad you're on it with such gusto. Do it to the fuckers before they continue doing it to you! |
Chuck the pillows too.

you're makin my head itchy.
good luck! those fuckers hang around longer than a two bit whore on 42nd street |
^^*LOL*
Not sure they'll like this treatment much....ya put the shit in and leave it in for minimum of 8 hrs....still got 4 hrs to go *L*....its greasy shit and my shirt is covered in it where i chucked enough in to kill an elephant I can't wait to be able to wash the damn stuff out....but then comes the combing part |
Oh joy - I have all this to come, don't I?!
|

... and then just hanging in the sun. |

If you have a kid that meets with 20-30 othere kids, that each come from a different place, 5 days a week for the next 16 years, it's a good bet :roflmao: |
I cant take my hair off and dry it in the sun...but believe me i'll be combing it for hours
I did contemplate shaving it off again...that'll fix em lol |
When my sis's kids were little they had it alot. Of course since my mom babysat I got it but my mom never did.
I've been lucky, my girl only had it once and since I knew what to look for from my sis's kids, I caught it right away and called the doc and got the good stuff for her. I had a waitress at the bar I managed yeas ago and her daughter kept getting it no matter how vigil she was with the washing and combing, turned out the school nurse was passing it around. |

LOLOL I had a prof who looked like Santa Claus with his white beard & longish white, curly beard who had to shave all after his kids brought the lovely critters home. |
Hi Sharni
I don't think there's many people with kids who haven't had to deal with the little devils. Mrs G mixes up a base oil, tea tree essential oil and vodka then puts that in the hair for 30 minutes, washes & combs that seems to get them. |
Many people in the south who do not want to be exposed to the pesticides use mayonaise on their hair overnight.
|
Well, yes, of course they suck...they're parasites with mouthparts that are specifically made to suck.
|
wow... talk about timely.... Mr 11 came home with them on Friday, he's been trying for the "long, scruffy look" well now he has the "just joined the army look"... number 2 all over!!!
We use a herbal mix... think tea tree oil... the Aussie nits, seem to be getting very strong against the chemical treatments... *scratch* |
