What color?
is the exterior of your residence?
Mine is currently a dark green and brick. The bricks are a darker orangier red. I'm trying to decide what color to paint it in the fall. Any suggestions? This sort of brick color http://www.brick.com/cgi-bin/viewHo...name=Weir+Plant |
Mine is a cream-coloed white. I really hate it - shows *all* the dirt - it even gets streaky after it rains.
|
Well, mine was white with black trim but that's changing. When all is said and done it will be a color called sungold for the siding with white trim and black shutters. Half of the house is already completed and it looks great. :D
|
Mine was white when we painted it the green about 12 years ago.
|
I'd go with a medium gray with that color brick Lil. Depends upon how much brick there is though.
|
It's brick top to bottom all sides. We don't have shutters. We have gables on each end that do not face the street, a door, a porch and a garage door to paint.
|
Maybe a deep navy?
|
Mine is currently cream and dark brown with a good smattering of mildew. I wish I had more control, but alas I don't.
I tend to like lighter colors... a creamy caramel or buttery yellow with a bright red front door. |
Brick

Just paint the bricks orange, trim with white and paint "O'Lilith" on the mail box.
:irish: :roflmao: |
Mine is cream colored siding and brick.
|
mine is partial brick and white.........holy boring batman!!
|
When I painted last summer I painted the brick a greyish brown then trimed in dark grey the gables are a lighter grey. Lowe's carries a very good paint for brick it covered in one coat.

Our home is a country blue with white trim.

Cream painted cement block. Just like 75% of this town.

Ours is a chestnut color steel siding with white trim and multi-colored brick tending towards a light tan color. Attached a picture to give you a better idea.
|
pretty DB!
|
I have white stucco over 2ft of brick...with burgandy shutters. It's an old colonial and could be pointed (remove stucco and clean brick and mortar) but the stucco is in great condition so far.
I have a stone smokehouse on the property and I was hoping (when we saw the house for sale) that the house was stone as well. I would have surely pointed it if that was the case. Orange brick goes with lots of colors Lil. What's wrong with the green? That would be my choice! |
ours is brick so it can only really be the one colour
|
Because when we replace windows, the new ones are different sizes than the onle ones are, we have been replacing the siding as we go.
We have natural color cedar siding on part of the house and a brownish yellowish aluminum siding on the rest. |
Rock colored. What would you expect from a lizard?
|
Mine is a generic red brick with white aluminum & vinyl siding
|
My house is cream harling with stone coloured borders round the windows and doors. The dooorstep and the garage door are also stone coloured. It's very neutral and quite boring really, but damn does it look a hell of a lot better than the unpainted, streaky harling we had before.

ours is taupe with white trim and black shutters.
i like the idea of white trim...really pops. my 'rents house is brick with white trim, i think it looks great |
My parents' house is gray brick with white trim.
