Fall is in the air

The air is crisp. The leaves are changing and it's a beautiful season. Perfect for a hike through the woods. Chilly evenings call out for a fire.

Nothing is better this time of year than a Dickens Cider. :brows:

i have always loved this time of year. i wish there was somewhere i could live where it was like this all the time.

WildIrish 09-26-2013 12:40 PM

I've always said that I would love to live where it was sunny & cool during the day and a bit of a chill at night. All year round...that is ideal.

That way I can have a Dickens Cider any time I feel like it.

:p

WildIrish 09-26-2013 01:02 PM

What about you? Do you prefer it hot? Or something with a kick to it...you know...hard?

Oldfart 09-26-2013 07:25 PM

Someone needs to make a brew "Rumpy Pumpy Scrumpy".

I'll take a dozen.

I agree with you WI.

When the weathers hot and sticky, that's no time for dunking dicky, But when the frost is on the pumpkin, Then it's time for dicky dunkin.

A Dickens Cider will keep you both hot and happy. ;)

Rumpy Pumpy Scrumpy

A medium dry cider, filtered & slightly carbonated. 6% vol

Sounds yummy OF.

Damn, I sure wish I had some of that hard, hot cider. :weg:

San Diego probably has about as good a weather as I know of ... seems like it's typically highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s most of the year! Those are my kind of temperatures! :boink:

Fall means Balloon Fiesta, streets closed, traffic jams, thousands of tourists, and crammed restaurants. The wind picks up and plastic grocery bags are in the cottonwood trees. The Target bags are quite colorful in red and white. The blue Wal-Mart bags are quite nice, too. ;)

Hi Mae.

Mae 10-04-2013 05:36 PM

Hello, OF. :sun:

Oldfart 10-04-2013 07:20 PM

Glad you're back.

Mae 10-04-2013 09:28 PM

Nice to be back. If I disappear from time to time, it's because I'm in CA with Mom...dementia.

Oldfart 10-04-2013 09:52 PM

You'll be here, even if only in spirit.

Mae 10-04-2013 10:24 PM

TY. I like to think so. I hope to make it to PAGAN some time.

Oldfart 10-05-2013 03:43 AM

I'll flick that to our PAGANmeisters, PF and Scarecrow.

I think a nice Alaskan cruise next August sounds great for a reunion. I plan on going with or without fellow pixies! ;)

Oldfart 10-05-2013 07:57 PM

Not the inside passage?

BIBI 10-05-2013 08:29 PM

Yes the inside passage to may be visited lol

andyhart 10-05-2013 09:08 PM

Ah Alaska... home to fireweed, puffins, and bear bells, each with it's own story. And like fall, picturesque and a chill at night that only the union of body heat can tame correctly.

No offense to the cider.. we did something a little different with the apples, something that required a still.
