Ok, what do I usually have? Same as PF, cept I start with the shower, then BIG cuppa coffee, then a cig, then off to BK for a sausage egg cheese croissant, hashbrowns, & a milk...what would I like to have first thing?...a wet sloppy BJ from Lilith would be quite an eye-opener... ;)

Clint 08-02-2002 11:58 PM

Nice to know that you aren't bashful about breakfast scotz :) *LOL* I think that would be a nice wake up call, too.

*Clint

Sugarsprinkles 08-03-2002 03:25 AM

With my schedule being as crazy as it is, "breakfast" is a relative term. LOL I'm up at 2 a.m. to deliver papers. Too damn early to bother eating before I leave. So I eat when I get home and that usually ends up being left-overs from the night before's dinner.
But given a preference, If I go out for breakfast I usually have a large glass of OJ and an omelet w. hash browns and rye toast. If I'm fixing my own breakfast at home, I love a big bowl of Cheerios with slices of banana! MMmmmmm!! So, Lil, just a bowl of Cheerios, please!

i'm amazed at how few people have a proper breakfast. if i have to be somewhere, i make sure i get out early enough to have a good breakfast. just wouldn't be the same without it.

Irish 08-03-2002 08:04 AM

legend---As a recovering alcoholic;I can explain the lack of a good
breakfast! There is NO tomorrow;bad things always happen to other people; Not YOU!People don't take things;like breakfast seriously.I wasn't going to be an alcoholic;that's other peoples

Nikki 08-03-2002 08:37 AM

melted cheese on toast and a cup of tea

Grumble 08-03-2002 09:02 AM

I am a bit suprised at how many people smoke and have a gasper when they have breakfast.

I never started smoking, I didn't like it when I tried it. A lot of my later life was servicing medical equipment especially respiratory/ oxygen related stuff. I saw many many people dying or spending their life connected to oxygen equipment because their lungs were affected due to their smoking. It was a very sobering sight and there were so many of them. We had about 2000 oxygen concentrators (machines that manufacture up to 97% oxygen from ambient room air using a molecular sieve, known as pressure swing adsorbtion) These machines are only issued to people who need oxygen therapy for 15 hours per day or greater so these were only the chronic ones. The population of Tasmania is only 450,000.

When you see the quality of life of these people you really wonder if they would have smoked had they know the dreadful effects it would have on their lives.

Scarecrow 08-03-2002 01:26 PM

Grumble until 5 months ago I would have had the smoke with them but after 30+ years I finale gave them up. So far so good.

Harley Q 08-03-2002 01:49 PM

I was also going to make a point on the impressive number of smokers, but grumbleguts beat me to it. It's not the first time we've thought the same, maybe it's true what they say about great minds...:D Not that smoking really bothers me. I could never do it, especially for breakfast.
Ah yes, breakfast. Idealy? A fresh bagel with lots and lots of Philly cream cheese (although, speaking as a native of the Philly area, I have no idea why it's special...). Realistically, well...I lived off of lucky charms in my dorm room when I ran out of cash. So whatever overly-sweetened and childish cereal you have availabe is great.

Clint 08-03-2002 01:54 PM

Marlboro Milds.....Box Please ;)

*Clint

dicksbro 08-03-2002 02:06 PM

Good for you, Scarecrow on quitting smoking. After more than 30 years of smoking, I quit almost five years ago now.

Okay, we'll make that a double order of pancakes then. :)

Irish 08-03-2002 02:19 PM

I quit smoking over 30yrs ago.I used to smoke over 2pks of Camels a day.Thinking back;I started because it was the thing that 'Cool"guys did.I remember;at 14/15;my buddy said to me-"You're not inhaling!"I did;to be cool;and it felt like someone took
a blowtorch to my throat&lungs.Like drinking;I tried cutting down.
1/2 week later;I'd be back to the same amount.I found that;for
me;it's either "All or nothing at all.Quitting smoking and drinking;
are some of my best accomplishments. If anyone wants me to quit
sex;they might as well;give up.At least I'll die happy! Irish
