Celebrities and sex

With all this crap in the media about Abi Titmuss's wild romps (which, may I just comment, she would definately get - hot babe or what!), it just goes to show how unfairly celebs are picked on.

I see Abi's TV slot has been axed because of her sex. I feel sorry for the poor girl. I mean for fuck sake, if Abi wants to go and have a sex, good on her, have a good time girl! Since when has it been a crime for a celebrity to have a wild night?

Oh excuse me whilst I go and fuck this gorgeous blonde actress - don't sack her now, will you?!

Ryan²,

Traditionally, people who spend much time in the public’s eye need to be sensitive to that public’s generally accepted limitations on their behavior.

Winston Churchill’s drinking and Franklin Roosevelt’s inability to walk are two examples that come to mind. Those two gentlemen managed their, “special situation” well.

Of more recent vintage are the peccadilloes of Pee Wee Herman, and Rush Limbaugh’s weakness for prescription pain killers. They managed revelations about their “private behavior” less well. One wonders what else President Clinton may have achieved during his tenure had he not been obliged to invest so much time in the legal and political defense of his behavior.

Based upon some of the posts here at Pixies, which of course may or may not be a representative sample, Michael Jackson’s popularity seems to have taken a hit with his arraignment on child molestation charges.

Finally, many performers have a “morals” clause in their contracts. That is what may have led to the downfall of Ms. Titmuss.

I could list other examples and suggest other possibilities, but celebrities, of whatever stripe, are seldom free to do as they please.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot....who the hell is Abi Titmuss?

dm383 01-22-2004 05:33 PM

She was/is the g/f of a guy named John Leslie, who was a TV presenter over here. He was accused of rape by various people, but found not guilty last year. She "stood by" him, then they split up shortly after!

LixyChick 01-24-2004 02:03 PM

LOLOLOL@BIBI! And I thought I was only confused by the Abi Titgirl thingy!!!?????

LixyChick 01-24-2004 02:14 PM

Speaking of Skiing.......

What's the name of the lodge you own, SexKing....and where is it? I might have been there.....so......just curious!

On your black diamond trails.....what's the highest vertical drop?

Do you have to make your own snow? Or are the conditions pretty good during the season?

Chair lifts AND gondolas?

Haven't been skiing in a few years...but with the conditons round here lately....we've been thinking Bailey's and coffee and head down, headphones on.....and GO!!

Oops! My bad! (gawd....I hate that expression....but for lack of a better one)....off the topic again......

Carry on!

BIBI 01-24-2004 02:28 PM
