I recently purchased 'Conquest' with Jenna Jamieson -- good production, with actual (attempted) plot. Mrs. Prof' seemed to appreciate it as well....

As far as I'm concerned "Behind the green door" was the best of all time.
It was made back in the '70s.

I liked Latex better than Shock. My wife liked Night Trips 1 and 2 better than House of Dreams though HoD was much kinkier.

One that has always stood out in my mind is "Bon Appetit". There actually is a plot, and it involves a rich bitch taking a challenge to find (and fuck) the world's 10 best lovers...in 50 days!

We see 1970's Rome, Paris, London, San Francisco, Vegas, and NYC. The photographer accompanying her (to provide proof of her conquests) falls for her and in the end...well, you know.

I'm sure if I saw it now it'd be like going back to the glory days of high school, but the memory of it is great.

I dunno...are we talking about adult movies where we actually watch them, or the best porn movies we've jacked or jilled off to?

That's really hard for me to decide. A lot of stuff I get in discount bins these days are compilation discs that serve the "purpose" very well. I haven't seen a bonafide movie with a "plot" (however throwaway it may be) for a looooooooooooong time. And I was old enough back in the day to catch the tail end of the "movie" era for porn.

I remember watching some stuff in my early, early teens on video that starred Sue Nero and Vanessa Del Rio, my favorite masturbation fantasies at that time. One was called "Lips" and it opened up with a credit sequence of this thick, veiny cock being sucked by some woman in lingerie with thick lips. And a the end of the credits, it exploded some good, thick, creamy jizzum all over her face. That was the first time I actually saw a facial cum shot on screen and I asked my cousin to dub that tape for me.

Ok, I actually haven't seen very many. It's not that I have led a sheltered life or anything. I mean I have seen "Green Door", and I think maybe about 4 others. Plus some things on Hotel cable that were just one sex encounter after another.
Does the uncut "Caligula" count? It's rated x and pretty explicit, it just has some big name actors.
By the way, I think seeing the "Green Door" is pretty much a requirement for any sub who has ever "scened". It is suprisingly acurate. There's just not that many different things that happen in one night. Watching it makes me feel like they mooshed a bunch of scenes into one night. Which would be fun, but horribly exhausting.
There's a couple of reasons why I missed out on film porn.
First, not that much lesbian porn. Yes, yes I know about all the obligatory WTW sex scenes, but they rarely get it right. At least in the ones I have seen.
Second:
I am not sure why, but I am more turned on by reading sexual material. I like to put myself in the place of the person. When I see a movie, I feel like I am an observer. It's sexy and a turn on, but not the same.
Last: When I have seen porn, the person I am with usually gets so turned on we don't see much of the movie, I always seem to end up going down on him or her and/or bent over the sofa and getting the daylights fucked out of me...
