What have each of you learned from this site?

I have learned that there are a lot of others just like me.
I have learned that this particular forum is like no other - people really care about each other here.
I have learned to try new things without being hindered by conditioned thinking....
I have become more open-minded,.............. the list goes on!!!!

What have you learned?

I've learned you can find love anywhere... even in the most unlikely places.. and I've learned that... people on a whole are USUALLYokay... even if they like to perv sometimes...

That I can be me.......... I can like what I like, feel what I feel, want what I want, need what I need..........and there are people somewhere who will just nod and smile, letting me be me.

I have learned that men with gruff personnas often have soft underbellies:p

I have learned that I like a nice fuzzy bum attached to men who are open and honest about their sexuality.

I have learned that people love to play games with eachother especially when they can say nasty things with nothing but the sweetest intentions.

I have learned that when one 16 year old boy gets in there is usually 3 more with him:p

I have learned that strong sexy women share both their bodies and a piece of the mind freely.

I have learned that people are only strangers til they come here.

I have learned that I don't know jack shit about music in comparison to some.

I have learned that I wear my emotions too close to the surface and that can be both joyous and fatal.

I have learned that the fecking planet spins:p

OMG! All of the above (^5 Lilith!) and so much more......

I've learned that people can agree to disagree....and still be friends.

I've learned that at times my seeming babble can actually help a person in need.

I've learned that hubby was embarrassed for no reason at all when he hid this site from me for so long.

I've learned I am an exhibitionist........and I found my outlet!

I've learned that home is where the heart is....and my heart comes here for inspiration, intelligent conversation, and laughter when I can't find it in my backyard!

I've learned (but really knew it all the while) that beautiful people come in all shapes and sizes and colors and parts of the world!

that, yes, even though you can't actually see or hear the people, you have a pretty good idea who's gonna irritate the jitterbuggin fuck outta ya real quick. wait, i learned that way before i came here... okay, yeah, but it's still applicable. oh, and that dirty, filthy canucks and koala-huggers have feelings too... they're just hidden under three layers of poison-dripping scales and razor claws. well, some of em anyway. *bows out*

Ditto for all the things already said. I think was really spoke volumes to me is that my wife, who doesn't spend time on the computer and has little interest in doing so, has been overwhelmed by how thoughtful and caring the people here are!

That says mountains about how really special you all are!

I've learned that bad things happen for a reason----even if at first its not clear!
That people can become close really quickly
That it is okay to tell ur friends ur afraid---cause they know already!
That I am blessed in knowing some really special people

I've learned that, contrary to my previous experiences, you CAN bring together a group of decent, caring people on the 'net, & no amount of assholes can tear them apart...

I HAD thought I'd learnt that Silky never makes any sense....

Then not long ago I read something he said that I understood, so I learnt that he IS capable of sanity, sometimes.....

Then I read what he said earlier here, and now I've learnt that Silky's a very complex character completely :)

is that being online so many hours in a row chatting with very cool people, when I get offline, it is damn near impossible to carry a verbal conversation. Why is that?
