I never really knew her, but I'm pretty trusting and so I suspect I'd give her the benefit of the doubt. :)

Seriously, it's kind of a jumbled thing. I think we control by our actions, words and deeds what happens to us ... but I think our backgrounds and emotions tend to push us in some directions.

It's like when I'm looking at the pictures of you sexy Pixie ladies ... er ... wait ... I think that's a different story.

I believe we make our own destiny by the paths we choose!

If it is true.....and destiny has chosen the career of seamstress for me..........destiny is cruel!

I didn't choose to be a seamstress....it just so happens I am waiting for a chance at a different career...so I still have hope that a career path will dawn on me soon!

I sure hope not...

Free thinking creatures set on a path that almost all of us deviate from.

Destiny exists in that we are pushed about by forces we have no

control over, nationally and personally.

Our country goes to war, our employer goes broke, a random drunk

runs over our foot etc.

We have the ability to surf the torrent of fate, but the force of

torrent still pushes us in directions we didn't choose.

WOW Oldfart! When ya put it that way......geezzzzzzzz! The ramifications of all that led me to this gig I have now.........I might just have to change my NO.....to YES!

my folks always said "whats for u won't go by u "------so in a way yes I do
think there is a reason for everything that happens-----just wish that the way to the end result wasn't so traumatic!
Guess u have to face the bad(stupid,tastless,weird,nasty--etc etc) to truely recognise the good----------------and therefore shape u'r future
I nurse people whose destiny lies in the hands of others------they have very limited choices and say over what happens to them-------------their destiny sealed---and beyound them.

If you r in the position to make changes to better your lot ---you r blessed, If you r in the position to make changes to better someone's lot---you r truely blessed!
