I am loading up my car with a shovel, towels, radio, and a cooler full of snacks and bottled water. I will drive roughly 40 minutes down the coast to a sweet spot. Nice white sand and a cool breeze with a bright warm sunny sky above.

That's RIGHT! I am going to the beach! I am going to the beach! *does a little dance hehe
I am taking my daughter and we are going to master the sand. We won't head home until our master piece in the sand is complete!
So, since I want to make the coolest of coolest sand castles what pretell should I also bring??? And if you have a picture of the item to post even better. ;)

I'm envious. I was at the lake last weekend and there was still ice on it.

With my niece last summer we made a zoo. Profiles of most animals and some sculptures too(alligators, snakes..) She loved it and it took up a good chunk of the afternoon.

As for tools, we just used out hands.

BTW the friend that was going to meet me there called me at 7:00 in the morning to make sure I was still going to meet her there at 10. Well, I got pissed. I told her no and went back to sleep. My daughter and myself slept in to 10:00 am. hehe

We are rescheduled for this coming Sunday. ;) It is all good. :)
