narrow foreskin?
 

i've got a narrow foreskin. meaning i can't pull the foreskin over the gland. and is very painful when i try.

was wondering how common this is?

i've never had any complaints or even really worried about it before. until someone on literotica pointed it out and and said suffer.

Ah yes, Literotica can be a cruel spot.

I think it's fairly common. I'm sure you could ask your doctor to operate if you wanted to, otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.

Do you think it reduces sensitivity?

i mean it doesn't bother me at all.

What you've got is called phismosis. If it doesn't cause discomfort when you're erect, or otherwise, it's probably nothing to worry about. There are a few options if you should decide you want to do something about it(or if it becomes painful):

1. Stretching, carefully
2. Your physician can surgically loosen the foreskin

or 3: circumcision.

Contrary to popular belief(thank you John Kellog) the foreskin serves a very useful purpose-- I know I wouldn't want to lose mine.

I had a very narrow foreskin as a kid, I got all kinds of painful infections. The doctors wanted to circumcise it, but I was terrified!

As I got older, things eased off and relaxed, especially when I was masturbating a lot.

The first time I pulled it back was painful, but it got easier every time, now it is completely natural.

I'd suggest trying to work it back a tiny amount more each day in a hot bath. Eventually it will relax and move back. Don't forve it, though!

Word to the wise: when it first happened, there was TONNES of crap behind there. It's important to clean behind your foreskin to avoid infection. If nothing else, try to get that sucker back for your health, if nothing else!

Think of it like a woman's virginity. It's bound to hurt at least a little the first time, but it gets so much easier thereafter, and before long you won't know how you managed otherwise!
