Nice bum, where ya from? :)

If this thread has been done, I haven't seen it in a while.

Sometimes in chat, we joke that the Canadians are taking over . . . other times it's the Aussies, etc.

Just wondering where we're all from. My apologies if I've left out your country . . .

Before the change of ownership I had a great stat page that used to give me the countries all the members and visitors come from, in a bar graph with percentages. It was really cool to see that we really do get visitors from all over.

O CANADA - MY HOME AND NATIVE LAND.....

Grumble 12-07-2003 04:11 AM

I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror- the wide brown land for me!

A dinky di Aussie here

Steph said: "Sometimes in chat, we joke that the Canadians are taking over . . ." Funny thing is my hubby thought perhaps they were........

My Mom & step-Dad live in northern Vermont, just minutes from the Canadian border. My step-Dad was born in Canada & has relatives living in Canada. We were up to VT. for Thanksgiving. Just as we finished our meal someone knocked at the door. Step-Dad looked out the window & saw who it was... he jumped up out of his chair faster then I ever saw him move... shouting "The Canadians are here, the Canadians are here!!"... running towards the door. Now I know he refers to his northern cousins simply as 'the Canadians' & I had seen who was at the door. But my husband & young daughter were clueless, watching this otherwise calm man run for the door yelling "The Canadians are here!" OMG!!!! ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!

We had a nice visit with the Canadian cousins & when we told them of the reaction they caused in the house they got a kick out of it.
