Fyi!
I've seen alot of violence,in my day,& consider myself to be fairly "hardened",
but this even affected me & slightly chocked me up!I thought that I would relate it to you guys.I just came in,to grab some lunch,& turned the news on. I can't tell you,the airline(didn't hear)But only know that it just happened. Approx. a dozen soldiers were flying back from Iraq, for a two week leave.A businessman,in 1st class, stopped a flight attendant,& told her to tell one of the soldiers,to change seats, with him, because the soldier, deserved 1st class, more then he did & he appreciated his inconvenience. Before long, every soldier had changed seats with the businessmen.I thought that everyone, would like to hear this. The treatment is ALOT different, then coming back from VN. So VERY good to hear that we have some respect for those who defend our way of life and our freedom with there life if neccessary. Makes me proud to be an American!
|
I'm glad that they are being treated better then those who came back from VN, people need to remember that we need to support the troops.
