I am dieing to see this movie. But if anyone spoils it for me like they did for The Sixth Sense I'm going to get violent. Some asshole critic gave away the ending on a tv show late at night. I was so pissed. But.. we're seeing The Village on Sunday...so I will avoid all mention of it untill then to prevent this :) WI you can come with me and Mr. Eliza... I've always wanted a MMF...er..I mean.... :jester:

I cannot wait for this movie, and it wouldn't surprise me if it took a year to come out over here in the UK!! LOL Just kidding...
Hopefully it will follow on.... it better! I don't want to know what happens before i see it either!

I went to the theater alone to see signs. I am sooo tempted to do the same for this one. I could not talk about it because I did not want to spoil it for Mr Lil so I just had to think and think and think...and sleep with a bottle of water :p

I just read a review that said it was his best film ever and that Ron Howard's little girl is superb in it.

i can't wait either. we've seen all his films and they are terrific. (and if it happens to scare the baby right outta me that would be okay, lol). anyone see the special "documentary" on sci-fi? we started watching it but it was 3 hrs long and kinda boring, like a lame spin on the stuff they did before blair witch.

Well, I just got back from seeing it. Bryce Dallas Howard was excellent in the film, too bad she couldn't save it. It's just my opinion..and maybe I don't allow myself to sit back and enjoy a film anymore without trying to analyze it. I had the ending figured out about an hour into the film. There's a little suspense in it, but I believe it was over-hyped. I'm a huge fan of his other movies, but this one, in my honest opinion is the worst. If you don't try to overanalyze it, you'll probably enjoy it.

I frankly hated the movie up until the last 10 minutes. The reason I disliked it was that large portions of the movie just were not fitting in my opinion. Then when it became clear what was going on it all made sense. It was good.

I went and saw the Village this past weekend. I should have listened to Eros. It is so wierd. Yeah, I jumped a couple times out of my seat, but at the end I just sat there like "WHAT? YOU'RE KIDDING". It was kinda wierd, that's for sure.

I went to see the movie this weekend also and I feel like it was the worst of his movies by far, it was so slow and like some have said you could figure it out pretty early on and I was quite disappointed at the end, it ended too soon for me i felt that it could have explained it a bit better.
