OMG--hubby lost a condom last night!!

yes LOST the fuckin' condom! and I've not been on BC pills for oh, about 3 mos now--lack of $$ for them(they're damned expensive if insurace doesn't cover them.) I found out in 2003 that it takes almost nothing to get PG! I was still on the pill when I got pregnant with my son.

I so can't afford this now!!! But, if something happens, it happens and I'll deal with it. :sperm:  :yikes:

Gosh I'm sorry you are all spastic now. but those things do happen. :x:

I am not sure how you'd feel about this, but there is the morning after pill...called Plan B. It must be proscribed by an MD, but typically they just ask you to come in and do a bit of counseling with you -- no big deal. Works within 48 hours of the sexual contact -- so you'dwant to see him tomorrow.

It's basically a heavy dose of BC pills...you take two pills, one pill each 12 hours apart. Sometimes it immediately induces a period. Others tolerate it better.

Just an option.....Either way, good luck.

Do you keep track of your periods and are you regular? Just for piece of mind, if you do and are, you can always check to see if you may be ovulating. Count from the 1st day of your last period to 28 days. Then count back 14 days from that day and take 2 days on each side of that date. This can give you a "rough" idea if you may be ovulating. An egg can live up to 12 hours and sperm can live up to 36 hours (If I remember my biology right).

Just another thing - it may give you some peace from worry or it may not. Only time will tell.

I was going to suggest exactly what osuche said, plan B. Talk to your OB/GYN. If you can catch it. My doc told me that within 72 hours it could be prevented, but osuche said 48 so maybe you ought to get there tomorrow just in case.

Good luck.

Ut oh! Well, it won't be the first time it's happened this way. But that's not helping, eh? Sorry hun. Hope all works out for you!

BTW...you did "find" the condom again...right?
