Thanks all. Not a whole lot has changed in the last couple of months. My sinuses are still being nasty to me, which means I really need to have an operation scheduled soon - only thing is, we're already down two people at work, so I really need to get through the next couple of weeks without missing any myself! argh.

You better hang around! We missed your sexy self. :)

I suppose one...almost upside to feeling under the weather like this is that if ladies are into the whole 'guy with a scratchy/gravelly voice' thing, now's the time to call me - but you'll have to put up with my coughing fits :P

Well with this latest sinus/chest infectin not getting any better after a week, and my voice going in and out, I'm finally seeing the doctor today at 4 pm CST. I'll probably get another round of meds. Whee.

Well, an infection was confirmed, but my breathing is actually good enough (compared to a month ago, as measured through a peak flow meter - if you don't know what that is, you breathe out as hard as you can through a tube, and it measures lung capacity. a month ago when I was really sick, it was about half what it is now) that the doctor this time said try a 5 day antibiotic treatment, skip the prednisone this time, and call her next week. The best part is, the pills came out to $10. Much better than before.
