I haven't found any links that actually show the professor speaking of the laptop...only a audio of just the threats. All the videos end at 48:43. Something seems off.

Has the matter been resolved? Frankly the school is having much more serious problems in regards to the other laptop that was stolen that contained tons of student data.

Wellit's also been mentioned "What was a professor doing with a laptop with such serious and probably UNENCRYPTED data in a classroom?" It does seem a bit fishy.

The voice on the audio sounds dif than the video to me and the story is not all ove r the web. Considering it would be coming on the heels of the previous laptop fiasco, I would think it would be. But I have no clue. The idea was amusing but it seems far-fetched and it apparently can not be corroborated...at least not by me :D
