I've heard the sound on the radio and by download, but I couldn't hear it when they played it on GMA today.

I also heard the sound when they played it on the radio this morning, but couldn't hear anything online.

Sneaky bastards! Leave it to them to take technology designed to be used against them and switch it to their advantage! ha ha

i heard about this on npr a little while back. the inventor and his teenage daughter (who's used it in class) were on together. cracked me up!!!

and yes, i could hear it. :p:D

Couldn't hear anything over the hum of the fan in the 'puter.

I heard it and it made my teeth hurt and mouth water in an ouchie sort of way just like fingers on a chalkboard or a fork screeching across a plate does to me or a high pitched dentist drill does to me.

It wouldn't last long in my classroom! I'd get bitchy faster that you could say, "Dude, I am in class."

But we know about it now...so just how sneaky are they really?

Never read the book Lil, but it just so happens that for some reason I know the answer. It's the females that you don't hear that you have to worry about. They're the biters!
