Transitions — Denny Doherty
Denny Doherty, from the pop group the “Mamas and the Papas”, died today at his home outside Toronto, Canada. He was 66 years old. He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The Mamas and the Papas had their day in the sun during the late 1960s with hits “California Dreamin'”, “Dancing In The Street” and “Monday, Monday”, among others. Ah, those were the days – but that’s another cut. R.I.P. sir. |
