Do you think you or your partner have discussed more openly with confidants the details of your sex life and your relationship?

I'm more probally more likely to have discussed the details of our sex life. Not sure about the relationship in general I know we both talk about things with our close friends. But overall I'd probally say I was the one who did more revealing.

Well I tend to more open with my partner more than a confidant. Also I tend to be the one who puts the ideas into their head in the first place.

I would say me. I don't see my wife as one sharing. And I don't do the general "boys talk" thing. But with a select friend (see emotional affair) I have talked about it.

I chatter on about it all wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more than my spouse.

I talk way more than he does. However, I never say anything that would cause a problem.

I talk with 2 close friends. No more, no less. I need some type of safety valve.

My guess is my hubby chats with no one. Either he doesn't need the valve, or it's his loss.

I have always been open about sex, both in general and on a more personal basis, and my friends and I usually end up talking sex when we're together.

I think it helps to talk to others about their frustrations and annoyances when it comes to sex. Stops you thinking that others have a 'perfect' relationship when you feel yours could be better. I also think it's a great learning tool, and helps us to loosen up and feel more 'normal' for having whatever little kinks and fetishes we do.

As for FussyPucker, he's pretty open too, but I'd guess that I talk about sex more than he does. He's more likely to be talking Cricket, Football or the baby, I think!

I'm very open about my sex life but only discuss details of it here or with someone very close to me. There's no need to get into it with friends or drinking buddies.

Mrs. WI is pretty reserved and sees no sense or purpose in discussing intimate details with anyone else...unless she's drunk, of course. Then nothing is sacred. Not even my recently recognized affinity for feet. :yikes:

Ha! The timing of this thread! I just met a guy through friends and they totally talk about my sex life. I have a thick skin but that annoys me. To paraphrase PF, it's not 7th grade, people!

Oh, I did. I don't think I was ready to date anyway so the releationship probably isn't going anywhere but I wonder how much the Petticoat Junction similarities soured me.
