~Warning From Mr. Lixy~
 

A "heads" up for those men who may be a regular Home Depot shopper. Over the past month I became the victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies for our new pool deck has turned out to be quite traumatic.

Don't be naive enough to think this couldn't happen to you or your friends.

Here's how the scam works...

Two SERIOUSLY good-looking girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with rags and window cleaner, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. When you thank them and offer them a tip they say "no" and instead ask for a ride to another Home Depot or Lowe's.

You agree and they get in the back seat.

On the way they start undressing. Then one of them, who is now nude, climbs into the front seat and starts crawling all over you while the other steals your wallet.

I had my wallet stolen on the 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th and 24th. Three times just yesterday and quite possibly it'll happen again today!

I just had to give you guys a warning. Be safe out there! From that thread PF posted recently, I know how devastating it can be to have to shop for a new wallet!

Hmmm................come to think of it I could probably use a gallon or two of paint, maybe a new fridge. My car windshield seems to be unusually dirty too................


Yep that's it........... I'm headed to Home Depot! :D

Not that I'm sexist or anything. But, you know, it has to be said. What about a guy, say, using his windshield wiper? :idea:

I saw it was about Home Depot and since hubby shops there, without pre-reading it I started to read it out loud to him.

Hmmmmmmmmm...isn't anyone gonna take this seriously?

I mean, Mr. Lixy can't believe it happened to him. So much so that he has to test himself to see if he'll fall for it again. I can't blame the poor guy. He's exhausted but he keeps going back to see if he has the common sense to shoo them away next time.

You know it's not always easy to find the dirt to cover the windshield. I may have to wait for a while, but a new screen door would be nice. :boink:

You're the luckiest of them, Lixy. That Mr. Lixy is doing his best to help the world while it goes to hell in a handjob. I'm going to my local HomeDepot daily to see if that scam pops up. So far not much luck. I'll be advertising my wallet soon to see if that scares 'em away.

What I'm betting on is that one of the "seriously good-looking girls" who scammed Mr. Lixy was in actual fact, LixyChick herself.
